My whole family (Myself, husband and son) have been coming to Salon Dior since 2012 and they are like family! Sommer has been through my “hair moods” with me and always makes sure I leave happy! She has great attention to detail and every time I walk out feeling like a million bucks. No matter what picture I see that I like she makes it happen! Z has been the only barber who has cut my sons hair. He did his first haircut at 1 year old and he’s now turning 8. Sommer even collected some of his hair for his first haircut and saved it in an envelope for me. We will NEVER go to any other salon

I have been going to see Sommer to have my hair cut for years and she always does an amazing job! I have thick hair that can often be hard for me to manage but I always like how it looks when I leave the salon. I got my hair cut and highlighted yesterday and have been hearing all day how good it looks! In the past couple years I decided I wanted to start highlighting my hair, but I’m not always good at remembering to make appointments in a timely way. Sommer manages to highlight my hair in a low-maintenance way so that it doesn’t look bad as it grows out! I can’t imagine going to any other

Somer- is just so talented and intuitive! She did my hair after 7 years of being away- she never ceases to amaze me! I came in a hot mess. (after blotching up my highlights, trying to do them myself!) She has great problem solving skills, after taking a good look at my hair, she went straight to work and I tell the truth-
Somer is a miracle worker- the color, highlights, cut, blow-out- she did it all!
Spectacular! I went from the east to west coast over 50 times, I can attest there is no other hair stylist extraordinaire from coast to coast like Somer!! I'm not just saying this, it's the total

I just want to share my opinion about Salon Dior. They are the best. My entire family has been going to them for over 10 years and will not go anywhere else. I have the hardest hair to deal with and get so many Ncompliments about it. My husband had to try another place when they were on vacation and will never go anywhere else except to see Z at Salon Dior. Summer is the most professional hairdresser I have ever been to. Our daughter was involved with the Miss America pageants and Summer always accommodated us to put her hair up, hair cut. anything we needed for the occasion. Honestly these guys

I've been going to Salon Dior for a long time! Z & Summer are Awesome! They have always been wonderful to my boyfriend, son & I. Especially when my son changes his hairstyle as much as he changes his underwear! 😂 They have everything one could need to get the hair style their looking for! I'll keep going back as long as they are their!

I have been going to Salon Dior for several years. I am so humbled by how hard they work. To call Zee a barber is an understatement. He's a master craftsmen in his field who never skimps or compromises even when others might be waiting. Their newly designed shop is well appointed, modern and bright. Summer & Zee make a great pair and I'm so happy they chose Wallingford for their business. Thank you both.

I love this place! I've been coming for about 3 years now. Sommer is the best! She listens, she advises, and she always seems to make my (difficult) hair look its best. She will go out of her way to fit me in when it has been necessary. She truly cares about you,not just your hair or how you look-but you.

I have been on a long search for the perfect barber. I have lived in NYC and Miami, having made the rounds at many highly rated barbers, but haircuts were never that special and interactions were average. When I moved back to CT, I was still getting my haircuts in NYC until I was recommended to come here. This is by far the best haircut I have EVER had. And I have that reaction every time I go. Z does an amazing job, pays attention to detail, and somehow understands whatever abstract idea of a haircut I may have on that visit. He is great to talk to, and like others have said the atmosphere is

Visited Salon Dior for the first time based on Yelp reviews. I normally get my haircut in NYC, but I was too lazy to drive that far. I totally trusted Summer to cut my hair how she saw fit and I left happy. She was so sweet and was easy to talk to. She genuinely wants to make sure you are happy with your hair before you leave. Might have found me my new go-to salon. :)

I am in town from Los Angeles and was in need of color and cut. I am so glad I popped into this salon. My stylists nam was Summer and she did an amazing job.
She covered my gray, gave me some subtle highlights on my bangs, cut my hair into along layered bouncy do and did an awesome blow out and a few barrel curls!
I love it and she was great to talk with and very friendly. I would love to come back if I'm ever in the area again. Being from Los Angeles, I'm exposed to the best stylists and the country and she was right up there with the best.
