After years of desiring to own her own fabric store, Carol decided to try and start quilting professionally. While walking into The Sewing Bee to buy a long arm quilt machine, she ended up buying the whole store! While Carol is the one you will see during the main hours of the day, Carol's husband Ray is there working on servicing sewing machines.

Carol and Ray are so excited about this new adventure at The Bee. Come down and get better acquainted with these two. They cannot wait to meet you! Come see us for all of your quilting and sewing needs! We are a Pfaff and Husqvarna-Viking dealer and repair. These gorgeous charm baskets can be a new part of your sewing room when you take Val Paulson?s class!

Thoroughly enjoyed shopping here. Very friendly. Very knowledgeable. Lots of selection. Notions, rulers, patterns. The classroom was rollicking along but I received excellent service. Enjoyed shopping.

New owner! And she’s wonderful (though I hear the first owner was wonderful too ♥️)! The shop is bright and the fabric choices are dreamy. This shop has such a beautiful selection of fabrics, talk about “quilt shop quality fabric.” Carol and Ray are raising the bar! Between Carol’s fabrics and Ray’s sewing machine mechanic skills, this is your one stop shop. And if you’re making masks, that have elastic coming in all the time! Love it here!

Contrary to other reviews, this place is not that expensive. It is an independently owned quilt shop and quilting supplies in itself is expensive. Sewing Bee keeps competitive prices with all other quilting specially shops. They don't buy in as big a bulk as JoAnn so we can't expect them to make as much profit or have the profit margins. But, they DO have some very hard to find supplies and TRUE quilting fabrics, incredible machines on display.

Such a Pleasure to shop at! I have been a customer with Sewing Bee for over 5 years and purchased numerous items that are of the best quality and Sherry is exceptional in her knowledge of the machines and inventory. Have had my two Pfaff machines serviced there and returned in a timely manner. You won't get this kind of customer service at a chain fabric store!

Really nice store and kind ladies. lots of cotton fabrics to choose from. they have lots of patterns, thread, buttons and even have some sewing classes. the only downside is the prices are a bit expensive. was hoping to pick up some fabric and thread but looking at price per yard, i can get it much cheaper on etsy. i would go here if i needed something right away only.
