Telehealth care enables us to monitor, evaluate and educate acutely and chronically ill patients between regularly scheduled nurse visits. Clinical information is monitored by nurses 7 days a week while the patient stays where they belong, at home. This technology is ideal for CHF, COPD, hypertension and monitoring patients with other complex diagnoses.
Our nurse was very conscientious and willing to do extra things to help me. She was always concerned about my well-being and made me feel very comfortable during my rehab. During our second visit to Stuart, Florida my mother and I were very fortunate to have had the pleasure of a nurse taking care of my mother.
Home health care is classified as intermittent health care. A home health certification lasts for 60 days. Each one of Anchor's patients has unique health concerns, and their plan of care is created accordingly. While some of our patients may stay in our care for the full 60 days, others may be discharged earlier.
Since 2006, Anchor Home Health has been the presenting sponsor of Poinsettia Power Fashion Show and Luncheon. Held in early December at The Kane Center, this key event is the major fundraiser for the Meals on Wheels program in Martin County. This program is an essential part of the lives of many seniors in our local area.
