Services
Your length of stay is determined by your medical and functional needs and varies by individual, however, the average acute rehab stay is approximately 2-3 weeks. If I have been denied by another rehab facility, does that mean I cannot be accepted by Pathway?. Each individual rehab has their own Medical Director and guidelines therefore, while one rehab may not be able to accept you, Pathway may be an option.
Pathway Rehabilitation Hospital is conveniently located within Cornerstone Specialty Hospital In Bossier City, La at 4900 Medical Drive, Bossier City LA 71112. I fell & shattered my femur & knee. This place is amazing!! The staff is friendly & on the ball. They have desk in the hall every few rooms so someone is always near. They work on everything - PT, OT & anything else you need. I loved that I always knew what my goals were. The food was good, coffee not so much so I switched to tea. My only complaint is that it is an acute facility so not a place to stay for long care

Have a friend that has been here one week after spending 2+ months at another facility. After 1 week she has progressed more than the entire 2+ months at the other facility. The entire staff, doctors, nurses, aides, PT's and OT'S are top-notch, caring professionals. The facility is very nice, well equipped and the food is great. I have nothing but praises for this place and could only wish every place was like it. Very disturbing to be told by other facility that my friend would be bed bound for life and would never progress to anything else and they recommended a nursing home. Pathway has renewed

My wife had a severe fracture below kneecap that persisted for some time and she had a 2 week stay at this facility. She had very limited mobility and confidence upon entry, but by end of stay was able to transition from wheelchair to walker very easily. Orthopedic doctor advised at the time that she remain in walker as a safety measure, but she was fully capable of walking without.
As a bonus, they added occupational therapy which she loved since the injury had impaired her ability to perform those types of everyday tasks that we take for granted. She had a speech issue from a previous diabetic
