Birth plan assistance. Preparation in communicating more effectively with your care provider. Work with you and your partner to prepare in the area of relaxation and coping techniques for the big day. Unlimited virtual support (phone, text, email). Continuous face to face labor/birth support. One postpartum follow up visit which includes feeding/newborn support.
A virtual doula provides provides education, reassuring support throughout the pregnancy, labor and birth as well as the postpartum period and comforting affirmations. The level of care is parallel in quality to that of traditional in person support, except services will be delivered virtually via a selected platform at time of initiation of services.
One Love Doula Services has teamed up with a talented, passionate photographer for Tampa birth photography services at your home, birth center or hospital birth. Heather Whitten offers our One Love family with birth photography which is part of our Could You Be Loved package. Experienced in documenting births for many years!

Our Tampa placenta services can aid in your postpartum healing and the best part is you get individual time with a certified doula during your placenta preparation process.
A doula absolutely can attend a Cesarean birth! Many local hospitals will allow your partner and additional support person into the operating room, in any event your doula will be at your availability from the beginning of the contract and provide much needed support before and after delivery. Yes, a doula is beneficial no matter what your birth plan looks like.

Yamel was an incredible source of knowledge and support during my pregnancy. She walked us through all of our options for a birth plan, which allowed us to feel confident and feel less stress as the due date got closer. Having someone we could contact with any questions at any time was a huge relief. Delivery couldn't have gone better, and we attribute that to all of the prep before and support during that time that Yamel provided. We would recommend One Love Doula to anyone—from new parents who don't know what to expect to experienced parents who need an advocate.

Although my relation with One Love Doula was a very short one, since I went into preterm labor that same week we decided to make them part of our birthing team, it was priceless. Marie and Yamel were so supportive and helpful. It was because of Marie that I went to the hospital and was notified I was going into preterm labor.

I don't even know where to begin with this review, but I'll start at the beginning with prenatal care. One Love starts by sending a packet of helpful resources prior to scheduling the prenatal visits. Even with it being my third pregnancy, the prenatal appointments gave my husband and I space to communicate our wants, needs and fears. When I found out I was pregnant my research about postpartum began. I was very nervous about it, even more nervous about it than the actual birth. I have suffered from anxiety and depression so I was petrified of getting PPD. I began reading about placenta encapsulation and all the benefits. I’m an advanced first time mother who gave birth on 03/18/2021 using the services of one love ❤️. It was truly a phenomenal experience for us. I engaged one love very late in my pregnancy but they were nonetheless stellar. My experience with One Love Doula Services has been wonderful. I used them for the placenta encapsulation, they came highly recommended by a friend, and they did not disappoint. One love doula is the best!! I hired one love doula services when I was 6 months, being a first time mom and in a middle of a pandemic I feared all the time and I needed to educate myself. On our First meeting Yamel made me feel at peace, provide me with so much information that my fears went out the window, at that moment I knew I was going to have this Angel(Yamel) care for my family to be. I recently gave birth on 1/23/21 and used One Love Doula Services for Placenta encapsulation. They were very easy to communicate with and gave me thorough instructions on what to do after birth. Within 2 days my placenta was picked up and returned just 2 days after that. I was really impressed with the packaging and the beautiful placenta print! The capsules are slightly flavored, which make them much easier to take than the last time I had my placenta encapsulated with my first pregnancy. I’ve been taking them for a week now and I feel great! If you’re wanting a smoother postpartum recovery

Yamel and Mandy are awesome, they have provided excellent support leading up to, during, and after the birth of our first child. We couldn't be happier to have had them join us along the way! We used one love encapsulation service for the recent home birth of our son. I've been taking the pills since the birth and feel that it has helped with my recovery. Also, Yamel is wonderful! It was very convenient that she came to our home to process. While she was working we were able to chat and she is such a pleasure to be around. Plus she is very knowledgeable and helped answer some new mom questions I had. I would definitely recommend her for anyone about to have a baby.

After delivering twins and suffering from post pardon depression, One Love Doula service was extremely supportive in helping me gain the sleep I needed.. Yamel, Tamara and Vanessa all juggled night shift feedings so I could get quality sleep. They went above and beyond to connect me with support groups.
