At Advantage Physical Therapy, our Licensed Massage Therapists strive for a personalized treatment plan; so whether you are coming in as part of an overall wellness program, in conjunction with Physical Therapy, or simply for relaxation purposes, you will receive a massage to fit your individual needs.
Advantage Physical Therapy now offers a wide range of pelvic floor treatments for both men and women. Our specialized therapist, Jan Mohan, is a 2013 graduate from the University of New Mexico's Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program where she finished in the top of her class. She has taken a strong interest in Pelvic Rehab where she is certified in the treatment of the pelvic floor.
To keep patients feeling their best, Advantage Physical Therapy offers a diverse selection of treatments to help the body restore itself. During dry needling a thin needle is inserted into muscular trigger points and taut bands, the muscles contract and release, thereby relieving tightness, decreasing pain, and getting you feeling better faster.
If the patient is under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany them to their first appointment. Yes, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. The physical therapist will complete a comprehensive evaluation. This includes taking a patient history, discussing your goals, taking measurements, performing specific tests, and discussing your plan of care.

It was my first time receiving physical therapy at Advantage Physical Therapy and could not be happier. I had my knee replaced and needed to to be sure I was going to a place that had knowledge of PT but also had an understanding of the whole body and how it works together. Between Mike and David I was in good hands. While recovering I hurt my back and could barely walk. They focused on making sure my back recovered while addressing the needs of the knee recovery. Thanks to them I am up and moving again and will be ready for the winter ski season and the spring golf season. Thanks a ton!

Having gone to Advantage Physical Therapy a few times over the past 15 years, I can safely say that they are on par with the best in the industry. Mike has consistently treated my injuries with thorough analysis and protocols each time. In addition, he has a wonderful sense of humor. I missed running and it's been years since I've been active. And my knee was what took me there and strengthening my leg was my goal. I wasn't happy with my workouts as well... but after stepping into the office and my weekly visits gained me some knowledge and confidence . I wasn't expecting anything within myself but I'm building muscles in my legs. I also enjoy my daily workouts and running a mile in 12mins. I'm so thankful. I'm back. Lol. Thanks to my therapist Landon, challenging my weakness... Appreciate it alot 💯.

Been to all the Therapist in Durango! Mike and Morgan and their Professional Staff is nothing But The Best! They care about their clients and hire the very best Therapists with lots of experience to make sure their clients receive the proper recovery treatment they need so we can get back on with our lives. I almost lost my left leg in Jan 2017, Spent 4 days in ICU/20+ surgeries/5+ Weeks in Denver Hospital. These folks are the best! They have the cleanest, safest PT office in town, plus you are greeted by a super cute puppy when you go in for your appointment. When I came into Advantage for the first time I had suffered from a back injury 4 months prior. I thought it would eventually settle out but the pain persisted. I was recommended Advantage and made an appointment and within my first visit Mandy set my pelvis back in place (it had been rotated out of place). I felt an immediate change. Of course it… took some time to rebuild my muscles in this area and allow it to heal but after a month or so my lower back has not felt that way since! From that point on I kept going back once a week to have some other issues checked out and each time was

The best in Durango. I have been to many therapists here in Durango but none compare with Advantage. I have a serious injury to my back from an accident. No one else could help me with the pain except Mike. I am able to live life better thanks to Advantage. I have recommended them to others and all have said how happy they were using their services.
