The Kensington Redondo Beach
The Kensington is worth every penny. Our family had decided on a facility that was a couple of thousand dollars cheaper. This first facility sounded great but couldn't deliver due to understaffing, poor internal and external communication. The Kensington promised that they would take care of our mother as if she were their family member.

They have honored every promise that they have made. During these unpredictable times, the one thing I can be sure of is that my mom is well cared for. The staff and care is beyond outstanding. The dining room serves delicious food and dad is greeted with his favorite dessert of vanilla ice cream and a warm chocolate chip cookie right after his meal.

As my mother made the choice to move to assisted living, she (and we) could not have been more delighted with The Kensington Redondo Beach. Caring is perhaps the most important characteristic of The Kensington, both at the move-in phase and continuing. Remarkably, the entire staff uniformly puts forward a caring atmosphere. Kudos to all staff members, including management!
Every factor in quality of life improved for my mother upon her moving to The Kensington. Her medical care improved, as well as her daily nutrition, her physical strength, and the various daily housekeeping and personal care

We have had a great experience with placing my mom in Kensington. They helped us navigate what was a very difficult situation with my mom and her care that was needed. We ran into some issues at first, but then we were able to work through them and my mom is doing very well there. The nursing staff and all the care coordinators are awesome. They truly have a heart for the elderly clients that live there. Communication is also a great thing to call out. They are in constant communication with the family members. I cannot say enough about Kensington. Thank you for all that you do!

We perform music on a monthly basis at Kensington. We see how happy the residents are and the respect and care that the staff provide. It is so pleasant to be there and entertain the residents with the songs they know and enjoy. Music is food for their souls. We will always highly recommend Kensington.

Mom moved into Kensington about a week after they opened. It was the best thing I could have done for her. She has been suffering from Dementia for a few years and her previous facility although good was not even close to the same care she received at Kensington. The staff is what makes any facility special and she responded immediately to the extra care she received. Everyone treated mom with such great respect and kindness and it offered me great piece of mind. I lost mom in early April but I know she had the best care possible the 8 months she was with the Kensington family!!

The Kensington is by far the best thing that has happened for my mother and our family. My mom has been suffering from progressing dementia and previously cared for at another facility. While the other facility did the best they could to tend to my mother’s needs, she was declining fast from depression, given her physical condition, confusion, and failing memory. Since moving into Kensington, she has come out of her shell. She is finally being cared for by dedicated professionals who truly understand her needs and update us regularly on her progress. The staff is incredibly compassionate and

Mom moved in late last year 2019 and The Kensington has been a blessing and a wonderful place for her to land.
Physical, occupational, and speech therapy have helped Mom maintain a lifestyle that is comfortable. Of particular excellence is the speech therapy provided by Leah. Her knowledge in the field provided Mom with actual tools to improve her speech, something that was lacking at a previous residence, while a good place is far behind the Kensington. With a registered nurse on duty and an in house physician, quality care is not a premium, but an everyday happening.
The varied activities provide

My father moved into Kensington in March of 2020, just before the pandemic broke, and I have to say that the quality of care and service has been second to none. I rest easy knowing that my dad is in such good hands. During such an uncertain time, Kensington has provided my family a sense of security and assurance. The facility is absolutely beautiful and always immaculate. The staff are always responsive and thoughtful. I have visited several assisted living facilities and Kensington is simply the best.

My parents moved into the Kensington a year ago. The Kensington is one of the only senior care facilities that allow couples to live together when one spouse has Alzheimer's. The staff are so caring! The decor is beautiful and the food is wonderful. We realized we had made the best choice as we kept meeting new residents that had moved to the Kensington from other senior care facilities in the area.

I stayed at The Kensington for one month while I recovered from surgery. It was a big decision because initially I thought I could take care of myself. Being semi immobile and requiring regular bandage changes, my restrictions prevented me from preparing meals and other basic household duties. Choosing a respite stay at The Kensington was the right decision. They have a 24 hour nursing staff that changed my dressing, assuring me my wound was healing properly. The care staff made themselves available to assist me with bathing and dressing. Laundry service and healthy meals allowed me to focus on
