We are so grateful to have a helpful & caring ICU as we do. Thank you for the great care you gave our mom. Thank you all so much! Especially Amy, Judy, Deanna and Kimberly. I would like to say that everyone that worked in the I.C.U. was great, caring, very skilled professionals. Their care doesn't stop with the patient, it continues on to the patient's family and friends.
The file "Chargemaster AVRMC" contains a listing of the charge amount for certain items used by AVRMC in the delivery of care to its patients. As a Consumer, you need to be aware that depending on your level of need, and items ordered by your physician depending on your particular unique disease, your charges may be different than another person with the same diagnosis.

My spouse had to be taken in for an emergency. The ER staff treated him so poorly that he felt worse than when he went in. They did tests on him, he used the sinkvand water spewed everywhere on the floor. When he said something they were condescending and he'd had enough and walked out.... now he can't get his test results until Monday... though this was an EMERGENCY-taken in by ambulance (which will cost us thousands) and yet HE PUT THEM OUT by going in. Next time I'll take him myself to pueblo or Colorado Springs. Hopefully we don't find out on Monday his results were in fact lethal. Don't waste

Terrible place. I was rushed here after getting into a bad car accident. Where I was left just sitting around. I was very concerned about the swelling in my legs and there was absolutely no sense of urgency. The nurses lack training and beside matter and don’t treat patience as life or death. Seriously if you are dying do not come here! At one point while taking my blood the nurse asked which tube do I fill up all the way how do I do it?
They were more concerned with trying to label me as drunk and getting my blood work than treating my actual injuries. I literally was on a road trip from California

I am not a believer in masks helping the spread of COVID...but I will wear one out of respect. I was chased down by two security guards at the hospital because I was eating a french fry with my mask down. They cornered me and were very aggressive. Security Staff needs training on how to deal with the public appropriately 🤦♀️

I was sent home with my discharge papers saying that I just had bruising after being brought in by ambulance, unable to walk after being bucked off a horse. Less than 24 hours after leaving their facility, I was back in a Colorado Springs ER and they found that part of my spine was fractured. I'd avoid this hospital at all costs. The staff lacks bedside manner and any intent to truly help people.

I’m sorry but when I have a pregnant wife and her she has a potential with triplets and when she gets a head ache or migraine that doesn’t go away for 3 day. You should let me go in I don’t care if there is COVID-19 in there she scared as it is with doctors and nurses. She’s already at a high loss of losing our kids cause of COVID-19 and stress from the doctors. Oh and you thought it’d be any worse oh no it gets worse they ONLY yes ONLY have 1 doctor here. So good luck on getting to see a doctor soon unless there not busy or something.

If I could give the ER one star I would. The staff who work the desk came across as if they were so inconvenienced by my husband having an emergency. Seriously, the "reception" we received added to the trauma of having to go into the ER in the first place. Other than a couple friendly doctors and a nurse who knew us, the staff were slow, condescending and unconcerned. Gratefully, once my husband was admitted overnight, the vast majority of the doctors and nurses on the floor were gentle and friendly. Also, when we've needed bloodwork, xrays, or physical therapy, I love going to this place because

My husband had to stay in the ER overnight due to a car accident he was involved in. While I was waiting his his CT scan and x-rays to be finished, I was standing next to the nurses station where I could openly hear the nurses and staff gossiping about my husband’s accident. The least they could’ve done is wait to gossip until the client has left the facility, especially since we didn’t know how severe the injuries were at that point. Very unprofessional.

While in vacation, I recently went to the ER extremely ill. The help I received was rapid, thorough, and appropriate. I spent overnight in ICU, and both staff and treatment were terrific. I was also one night in a room, and again everything was excellent. I have been to big city hospitals 3 times in the last few years, and both staff and treatment at AVRMC were as good as the larger hospitals. I deeply appreciate the staff and the quality of care I received. Thank you all!
