I grew up in Louisiana as the baby of eight siblings. With so many in the household sickness was a frequent occurrence. At my Grandmother's side I cultivated my caring nature. Over the years, I have always enjoyed taking care of others and when I moved to Dallas, Texas in 1999, I aimed to secure a career doing just that.
Professional caregivers help seniors retain independence, dignity, and a sense of purpose by making aging in place possible. I am so thankful for Home Care Assistance. I have been the caregiver for my bed bound husband, but recently realized that I needed some help, and the freedom to take occasional breaks and go to the grocery store. From my initial phone call and home visit with Ben, I was immediately at ease and felt good about this company. When I met our caregiver, Sha, I was pleased that she has such a great personality and work ethic. She has been the perfect fit for us. Sha sees what needs to be done and just gets busy doing it. Home Care Assistance of Richardson has provided an exceptional care giver for my 96 year old mother with Dementia. From helping with daily house hold cleanings, food preparation and laundry. Without assistance it would be impossible for me to keep my mother in a safe home environment. The owners and staff are always friendly and cooperative to our requests.

I have had a wonderful experience with Home Care Assistance! I needed immediate 24-hour care for my Mom as she was rehabilitating after a fall. Ben and LuKeysha were great: they set up a meeting with us right away and made us a personalized care plan. The caregivers have been amazing! They keep my Mom in good spirits and I have the peace of mind that she is well taken care of.
