Our customers find peace of mind while working with us. We treat every customer and every job the way they should be treated by taking the time to diagnose each situation, letting the customer know what it will take to fix their repair and using proven engineering methods to get the job done right.
Services
We offer a wide array of services which include yard grading, the placement of interior drain tiles, exterior drain tiles, excavation and more! Proper grading is needed to ensure drainage and prevent leakage into the foundation. This is done by grading the soil. Couple grading with drain tiles, which capture floor and wall seepage, to more completely waterproof a basement.
When your foundation needs repair, Briggs Basement & Foundation Repair can help get your home back in sturdy shape. We've been serving Wichita, KS and surrounding areas since 1957, providing exceptional work and friendly service. We will keep the structural foundation of your home in the best possible condition for years to come!
The patented DynaPier foundation piering system was engineered to be the strongest foundation pier. The pier segments are pre-cast in a powder coated steel sleeve which is corrosion resistant. The outer casing is filled with a concrete core which provides superior strength and resistance, as proven in independent testing labs.
Wet basements are more than a nuisance, they can also be a health hazard. Moisture in your basement can cause mold, reducing air quality in addition to causing musty smells. To remedy this, it's important to capture the water before it enters your home. To channel the water away from your home, it's important to have the right drainage system.
Bowing basement walls can be caused by sloping lawns, patios, and driveways, rainy weather, leaky pipes, and trees. If you've noticed foundation or basement problems in your home, it's important to address the issue before the problem worsens. Basement walls left ignored can result in cracks, crumbling, and collapse.

Such great people who genuinely care about their customers. It’s hard to find construction companies that you can trust, but this is one of them. Thank you for the good experience and thoughtfulness!

After this last big rain storm I had a leak in my basement where the builder brought electrical in below grade. My house is not even 2 years old, so I was already frustrated. The team at Briggs took the time to answer my questions and even sent someone out to look at my problem at no charge. I had already done the digging need to get to the pipe, so they were so kind to tell me exactly what to buy, where to buy it and how to fix my leak. They will be my first call if I ever have another issue. Thank you so much!

When several other companies were quoting us anywhere from $10k - 20k to fix our college hill basement (one company said they'd hav to dig up the courtyard and work from outside in), Briggs used a common sense approach working from inside to repair cracks. Also suggesting we plant landscaping to aid in preventing leaks. They were honest/candid, indicating it may take more work/$, but, ,"Let's start here and see if these simple approaches work." Good ol common sense (rare these days).
For a FRACTION of the cost other companies quoted us, Briggs fixed the leak. They suggested waiting until we had

After last years spring rains, our concrete wall broke and flooded the basement floors. Darin and his team fixed all of our poorly made concrete basement walls by putting in steel I beams after moving the walls back into place. The multiple cracks (gaps) were fixed with pressure application of epoxy. We even got an egress window put in.
The workers were everywhere. Inside with the beams and outside moving clay dirt, drainage tile, sealing the concrete and insulation, rock back fill and new dirt. When they were done. It was clean and ready for us to finish the walls. We have used them multiple times

One of their trucks just made multiple attempts to run me off the road in a construction zone, when I attempted an evasive maneuver the driver became even more aggressive. I'm already a paraplegic from an irresponsible driver just like that and do not appreciate the criminal manner in which their vehicle was threatening me on the roadway. I highly suggest having an etiquette briefing with any of your employees who are driving your vehicles and representing your company thanks!
*EDIT*
Incident occured 6/26, White Truck w/KSU rear window decal.
