Tom Treanor is an Master Child proofer with well over 10,000 hrs experience in baby proofing residential homes in the New York area. He provides on-site consultations for small apartments as well as to the largest day care centers in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. He is also called in as a frequent "Child Safety Expert" guest on many local and national T.V. news programs.
The International Association for Child Safety has developed the childproofing industry's first and only professional certification program. It is overseen by the Board of Certification for Professional Childproofers, an independent body formed to develop, implement and monitor this program.

Almost every home has at least one cabinet that needs to be locked. The decision about what type of lock to be used depends on a few variables. How old is your child now? How long do you plan on living in the residence (about how old will your child then be at the projected move date?) How dangerous are the contents in the cabinets?
There should be no space big enough for a baby's head to get through. If a five-inch ball can fit through any window opening, then the window guard has not been put in right. Furniture that children can climb on should not be near windows. Some babies can climb up on furniture and crawl through open windows even before they can walk.

Would give 10 plus stars!!!!! He's awesome. Installed gates for us last year, made suggestions on where and how to install so they are protective yet not intrusive and they work great without any issues. We called him again this year to add some gates on our patio and received the same high quality, professionals service. The door latch on our fence has been broken for ever and Tom advised us on what part to buy to fix it, well today he e mailed my husband told him that he was in the neighborhood so he stopped by and fixed our fence. How often does anyone do something like that anymore. We

Tom installed two stair gates, several furniture and TV straps, and cabinet locks in my home this morning. He was incredibly prompt, super friendly, and neat and clean in his work. I did my research and he was also more reasonably priced than his competitors. I spoke with him by phone on Monday and he did the work today (Friday). You can't ask for better service than that! I will definitely be calling All Star Baby Safety in the future to baby proof the next home we move into!

Tom Trainor and his partner are amazing. They have now baby-proofed 2 apartments in NYC and 2 homes for us from top to bottom and do an incredible, professional, thorough job. Tom came and helped us baby-proof our apartment in Manhattan. I really enjoyed the quote process, as he was thoughtful and some of the tips he gave me had nothing to do with the work he was going to do, and were practical things I had not thought of. When we were ready to do the work, they were able to schedule within 1 business week. He and his team came and performed all the work within a long morning. Now all of our furniture is secured with anti-tip straps, our radiator covers are secured so they will not tip, and our outlet covers are the sliding type the automatically close. I am very satisfied

Tom Treanor is professional, knowledgeable, and honest. This guy knows everything about baby safety. We used him and his team to put a pool fence in, and we couldn't be happier with the work. He took a lot of time explaining what we would and wouldn't need in a fence, and his prices are more than fair (cheaper than any other quote we heard, and the product is much, much better than what other fence companies were offering). He's the real deal. We would absolutely use him again.

We have used All Star Baby Proofing twice so far. The first time Tom came in and went through the whole house and gave us a quote, from which we could choose exactly what we wanted to do. He came back and did everything within a couple of hours. He and his assistant were very neat and professional. We just recently finished our basement so Tom come back to install more gates and TV straps and found some solutions for areas we didn't even know could be baby-proofed! Highly recommended!
