We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team, full time. Individual must carry a valid class B (CDL) license. We offer a full benefits package. We will no longer be picking up blue recycle bags and taking them to be recycled. Any recycling needs to be taken to your local igloos which will be in place tomorrow.

PRESQUE ISLE - Gil's Sanitation has been providing a much-needed service to area homes and businesses for over 41 years, picking up what others no longer want or need on a regular basis. Mr. and Mrs. Emery White owned the business before and used to bring their trucks into the wrecker serve, explained Marie Berube, vice president.

Gil's Sanitation Inc, provides bulky waste pickup of refuse. Examples are stoves; washers; dryers; furniture etc. Please call our office to schedule a pickup or dropoff. If you are doing a remodeling job at home or just looking to do some spring cleaning and need a roll-off, please make sure to check out our roll-off section.
Monthly curbside pickup is $35. We provide you curbside collection of Trash, Blue Recycle bags and Contained Cardboard. Please have all items out by 7:00 am on your day of service. As customers with us you are also allowed to drop off, at our office location free of charge: waste oil, cardboard and metal (refrigerator, stove, washer/dryer ect.)
If you are a weekly customer, please put your trash out the following week and we will pick it up at no extra charge. If you cannot wait until the following week, please call to make arrangements for a special pick up at an additional charge. Occassionally we chose not to put our trucks on the road when conditions are too dangerous.
