Please allow me to introduce myself - My name is Heather Michael and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am also a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (CADC). I work with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents dealing with a variety of problem areas including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and trauma.
My passion is working with people, and helping them cope with, adjust to, and overcome the difficulties life can bring. I can provide the emotional support and professional guidance that will help you move forward and grow. Group Therapy enables clients to learn from others' experiences and allows them to see that they are not alone in their struggles.

Services
Group counseling enables clients to learn from others' experiences and allows the clients to see that they are not alone in their struggles. During group counseling, clients have the opportunity with a therapist facilitator to not only work through their own struggles, but support other members of the group with similar situations.
Hours are by appointment only. I strive to provide early morning, day and evening appointments to accommodate my clients' schedules. I also have limited availability on weekends. Upon scheduling an intake session with me, please inquire about my general availability to determine if I would be a good fit for your schedule.
This saves time and paper, and I will have all your information available before we first meet so that therapy can be conducted in the most effective way. Once you have scheduled your first appointment, you will need to set up an account on the Patient Portal. I will be more than happy to provide you with information about how to access your record and how to complete, electronically sign, and submit the necessary paperwork to get started.
