My daughter cannot wait to get to ballet class after school. MBC is her "happy place." If she has a rough day at school, she finds that ballet truly recharges her and lifts her back up to her cheerful self. She is so grateful to be able to do what she loves; and as her mom, I am thankful that we found MBC, with its culture of excellent classical ballet instruction in an atmosphere of kindness and grace.
Montana Ballet Company has been such a part of our family. Montana Ballet Company (MBC) is a nonprofit, 501c(3) arts organization governed by a Board of Directors and registered in the state of Montana. For over 37 years, the Montana Ballet Company has enchanted audiences with its exceptional productions. From full-length classics, to contemporary ballet and modern dance, our company presents works that appeal to both the dance enthusiast and the first-time theatergoer.
Just three months later, thanks to your outstanding support, REIMAGINES has raised $100,000 far surpassing our original goal of $80,000. We are deeply grateful for such generosity from our community, Board of Directors and dear friends. MBC REIMAGINES is our innovative path forward as we shape a dance world that is inclusive, accessible and healing.
The Willson Auditorium - The Willson is the MBC's main performance venue; it is ADA compliant and is equipped with a variety of seating options for persons with disabilities. There are many wheelchair-accessible spots each with a paired companion seat. The Willson also provides barrier-free, accessible parking on the south side of the Auditorium, off of Babcock street.
Throughout the years, MBC has served the Greater Gallatin Valley and beyond by providing meaningful access to the arts through its Educational and Community Engagement programs. MBC's Engagement programs support one of MBC's goals, to provide for all children, families, and seniors the chance to experience the wonder of dance and live performances.
The Academy, Montana Ballet Company's official educational facility, provides the finest classical ballet instruction for students age 3 to pre-professional.
With a humanistic approach, The Academy's professional faculty introduces children and adults alike to the art, discipline, and beauty of classical ballet, enriching the minds and spirits of those who aspire to learn the art form and establish a profound and life-long relationship with dance.Our preeminent training focuses on the attainment of technical ability and artistry, as well as teaching meaningful and important life skills.

Montana Ballet was so warm and welcoming to my daughter when she decided (a little late) you try ballet. Very much geared towards classical (and some modern) ballet. My daughter has no interest in learning hip hop or jazz stop this is perfect for us. I can't recommend them enough! Being part of the Nutcracker performance is an incredible experience too.
