Cobble Field is our special blend of about 80% cobble stone and about 20% of our field stone. The blend and the percentage mix of the two stones is very balanced and creates a nice pattern for both exterior and interior projects. Homes that are set on a wooded or rustic lot make this stone blend a great choice.
For a sophisticated, yet elegant look, consider our Ledge stone Style Stone (also referred to as a ledge stone or drystack (dry stack stone veneer). These stones are longer and more narrow than our cobble stone. There is a lot of relief (depth and character of the stone). This faux or manufactured stone veneer can dress up a brick fireplace that needs a refacing, and works well with a new wood mantel or TV with your new stone fireplace.
Our Mountain Ledge Stone Veneer makes a gorgeous choice for fireplaces. It offers textured stone with clean lines and medium sized, bold stones. As with all of our stone, our Mountain Ledge Stone Veneer can be custom colored to match your design style. This stone goes beautifully with bold wood mantles of any color.
Mountain Stack stone is our most popular blend of stone for interior projects such as fireplaces. The pieces are a blend of more roughly textured stones with some thinner and linear stones with less texture. This blend of textures creates a very appealing look for fireplaces and interior walls where you want to create a focal point.

Alan helped us with everything from stone selection to design and created our exquisite new fireplace. They were able to start and complete the job in the time frame promised. Every part of this project was 5 star. Start to finish, Alan walked us through it all. This company has integrity. The project started and ended on time which during covid is not a small thing! When the delivery truck failed to pick up our stone twice, Alan personally rented a trailer and drove out of state to pick up our stone and deliver it as promised for the start date of our project. He helped us with design choices, guiding us in something that would compliment our home and last for years to come. The masonry process was fascinating to watch. I couldn't be happier with this company. Alan was great to work with. He spent a lot of time showing me samples and pictures and then sent a picture of what the project would look like, including different options. He was a big help in making any decision. The work was done in the estimated amount of time. No one could tell these aren't natural stone. My backyard looks so different now and so much better. I highly recommend using them

I purchased stone veneer from North Star Stone for a DIY install on a stacked stone indoor fireplace. Alan was a great help in determining the product, color and shipping plan. It started as an online purchase but direct contact with him made me feel like I was buying it from a merchant I knew. The product itself worked out pretty well - it is easier to cut and has a better "real stone" surface than other cast veneer's I've seen and had used on projects. If you're looking for a DIY product I would recommend you reach out to Alan and get their help with your needs.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Alan, the owner, was great in initial emails, then when we visited his showroom went out of way to make us and our small kids feel comfortable and informed. Pricing and options was thorough and under our budget. The day of our install he showed up to kick off the job then left his very talented crew to complete the install. They blocked off the area to keep the house dust free and moved super-fast. Before we knew it, we went from a plain wall to a beautiful stone fireplace surround. North Star Stone installed their beautiful stone on our colonial style home and we love the new look. They took time to help us determine where to add the stone and then select the best style and color of stone. We loved the fact that even though we didn't have a brick ledge their stone veneer can be applied to our house.
The installers did a great job and were very careful about the plantings around the house. The installation of the stone took about a week. I would definitely recommend them for their quality stone work.
