Formed in 1982, Rutka Weadock is a full-service graphic design studio dedicated to harnessing the power of good ideas. We collaborate with clients who have important stories to tell - promoting education, healthcare, the arts, and much more. Rutka Weadock delivers communications that command attention and get results because we engage the audience in a meaningful, thought-provoking conversation.

We elevate your message above the chatter. Effective communication requires strategic planning and powerful creativity. We help our clients understand who they are, discover what makes them distinctive, and express how they can make a difference. Our strength lies in our ability to identify the special qualities of each client and to bring them to life in the communications we create.

At a time when many colleges have abandoned expensive viewbooks for the web experience, MICA recognizes that it has an audience that still values the pleasure of holding a book in their hands. With each viewbook, our challenge has been to elevate the college admissions catalog to a higher level. We want to create a book that does not just show art, it is art.
RW has worked with George School since 1987. During that time we have produced admission publications, annual fund and capital campaign materials, the alumni magazine, and annual reports. The Compendium replaced the conventional viewbook with a collection of personal observations written by students, alumni, parents and teachers, combined with facts, quotes, lists and photographs.
Flight or Fight, a regional report published by MPPC, covered issues such as urban blight, suburban sprawl, employment, education, taxation, and more. The challenge was to take a lot of weighty information and put it into a format that would make it accessible to the audience - movers and shakers in the region who had the potential to act on these important issues.
Apply Yourself -This book was sent to prostpective students and their parents interested in Miss Porter's School, a selective, girl's boarding school. We created the theme "Apply Yourself" to emphasize the high level of motivation needed to succeed at the school, then translated that visually through a dust jacket cover made up of perforated stamps.
