Ahhhh!!! LOVE this place!!! The owner was sooo kind and accommodating! Such a genuinely nice woman! I called earlier to see if I could do a 2 week membership and she totally made it easy and affordable for me! Great beds, they supply the goggles and make you feel right at home! Thanks again!!

Came here a week before my wedding, just to get a little base color. Shanti is so sweet and knowledgeable of all the beds. The beds always seemed so clean! Definitely recommended if you're looking for a tan. Also I've heard numerous reviews about how good the airbrush spray tan is!! Will definitely be back when it's closer to summer!

I recently joined this place and I absolutely LOVE it! Their beds are state of the art, fresh bulbs and super clean! The staff is incredibly helpful and professional. I have been an unhappy itan member for a long time. I'm so glad I found this gem! Great salons like this are hard to find!

I just bought a package here the owner is super sweet, and got a great deal on the package. Way better priced then Itan and I love that they are right in the village. Beds are great of course and obviously very clean.

Every time I am in town this is one of my first stops. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The facility is clean. I only spray tan and their booth does not make me orange!

I found this gem when I lived in Carlsbad and still go even though I now live in La Jolla. So worth the drive! Very clean, great specials on lotions and tanning, owners engaged in daily operations and always greeted with a smile 😀

Today was my second airbrush at Tan by the Sea. It's about 2 blocks from my street, so not sure why I've been driving to iTan for all these years. Shanti has done my tan both times - first was for a wedding in the summer which came out perfect with the strappy bridesmaid dress I had to wear. Today I came in for engagement photos next week. She is super sweet with an awesome technique... I have vitiligo on my entire back which she covers perfectly. Happy customer!

This business is so accommodating and very reasonably priced. I've tried many other tanning salons and they do NOT compare!

Very knowledgeable staff. I love how clean the salon is. Everyone is super friendly and they can keep your lotion behind the counter if you want so you don't forget it!

Shanthi and Tim are wonderful people and are always very welcoming. Whenever I call they go out of their way to accommodate my very busy schedule. I highly recommend the Versa Spray Tan....I get it once a week with beautiful results.

I liked this place. They are affordable and don't try to sell you stuff you don't need which I appreciate a lot. They have everything you could want from a tanning salon (yes they do teeth whitening!) and the staff is very pleasant. I left happy with a gorgeous Tan.

Tim and Shanthi run a great place for tanning. You get a choice of two different types of spray tans, and three or four different beds, with one high speed one. There is also one stand-up booth so you can tan those pressure points you get from using a bed.

The salon is always clean and every room has everything you need including wipes and spray deodorant for after tanning. They change the bulbs often so the beds are always tip-top and ready for the next appointment.
