In 2004, she married her high school sweetheart, Mathely Legrand, and they are blessed with two children, Marlie and Makenzy Legrand.

took my daughter here today for braids and Woozie was so nice and friendly to me and my daughter and did my daughter’s hair beautifully! She was very patient with my 2 year old and didn’t rush through her braids even though she was starting to get antsy at the end. We’ll definitely be back!

ONLY GAVE 1 STAR CUZ I HAD TO TO POST......Made an appointment to get my daughters hair done at woozies in fall river... i state in the notes on the app. She is 4.5yo. And this is her first hair cut.... I had to pay a deposit (no big deal) but to call me wen im outside your place getting my child outa the car you say im sorry i just read the notes and i dont do just trims on new clients........ ( the app allowed me to make the appt) and i researched the whole site (which is very vague, before making this appt).....DONT U THINK U SHULDA READ THIS WEN I BOOKED the APPT YESTERDAY.... HORRIBLE BUSINESS

I came to Woozies to have my 8 yr old daughter's hair cut and styled. I've been looking for someone who could work with textured hair because it is hard to find a good one in the Newport area. Woozie was amazing and affordable. She made my daughter feel so comfortable and inclusive in every step of the process. They say you get what you pay for well in this case we got MORE! Woozie went that extra!! What an experience, so happy to have found a new hair dresser.!!

Woozie is very professional and personable! She is the best hair stylist in fall river and i’m glad she was recommended to me. Her prices are very cheap and shes very accommodating! If you don’t like what she’s done she will fix it until you both are happy with the results. As an African American with kinky hair I’ve never had someone who knew how to do my hair in this city nor the surrounding cities. I’m very glad that i am able to walk out of a salon and finally like what is done to my head. I’ve been going here for about a year now and I don’t see myself ever going anywhere else
