Services
Lipstick N Lashes began in September of 2008. Joanna Romanzo, the founder and creator, took her passion for hair and makeup and shared it with one bride at a time until her passion grew into a thriving full-service salon. Starting out as a solo operation, soon Lipstick N Lashes began building a team of talented professionals to include hairstylists and makeup artists that were second to none.
There was no question in my mind that a career in hair and makeup was definitely my calling! Shortly after high school, I took a little break and worked in retail then started researching cosmetology schools. After several school tours with my mom, we finally found the school that I would be going to.
Weekend trials April-November $100 additional per person per service Saturdays $350 additional on Sundays. Bags include Bobbi pins, blotting papers, purse size hairspray, and lip color for touching up. Our team of seasoned, experienced stylists and makeup artists are committed to giving you the best experience on your wedding day.

If I could rate no star, I would. Joanna completely ruined my wedding. I got a text from my stylist at 7:30 in the morning of my wedding day asking where I was. We couldn't get into the venue until 9 AM and told her we'd be there at 9AM. No text back from her. We get to the venue with breakfast for all the girls and we met my wedding coordinator who said the two stylists were setting hair & make up upstairs. We set up the breakfast and had a drink or two. I am beyond upset with this vendor. Not only did they fail to perform contracted services on my daughter’s wedding day, the owner has twisted facts to suit her. The owner keeps insinuating that the entire bridal party failed to show up where the wedding was to be held. Seriously?? She also fails to remember the fact that the event coordinator confirmed that they could get into the venue at 8:30 a.m.and begin at 9:00 a.m. with a telephone call the day before the wedding. Maybe they did show up at 7:00 a.m., but I can’t understand why they would when they were specifically told the venue was

Joanna's team really made a difference on my wedding day! I felt so amazing, i loved everything she did for the girls and I! She showed up early to set up and we were on time the whole time. The ladies at Lipstick n lashes were wonderful to work with and so fun! We had a large party of ladies in my bridal party and they came to our venue with a team of stylists and makeup artists to get us all ready. They were efficient and everyone looked so glamorous. Everyone’s hair and makeup held up all night through laughing, crying and dancing. Highly recommend!

I hired Lipstick N Lashes to get myself and my bridesmaids and moms ready for my wedding. I was a little nervous because I do not wear a lot of makeup and I’m pretty simple but after my trial I was so relieved. My makeup was flawless and just emphasized my features which was perfect for what I wanted. Joanna was so helpful from the beginning all the way through the big day. DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR FOR YOUR WEDDING. On the day before my daughter's wedding, our wedding coordinator called and spoke with Joanna to confirm the time the vendor could arrive at the venue to set up and the time that services could begin. In addition, no time was ever mentioned in the contract. On the morning of the wedding, I arrived with my daughter and was informed that two people were waiting at 8:00 a.m. when the coordinator arrived at work. They were informed they could not set up until 8:30 a.m., and at that time, they proceeded to set up. They were nowhere to be found at 9

I would like to note that I carried out my end of my contract with this vendor. As a paying consumer, I need to speak my piece. I left my trial with zero confidence in my wedding look so I cancelled the contract and paid all required fees. Ladies, please read your contracts in full.

Just had my hair and make up trial and can't say enough good things! When I didn't like how the first hair style I tried looked on me Joanna let me try out a second hair style and it was perfect! It was exactly what I was envisioning. She also listened to exactly what I wanted for my make up - I don't wear a lot of make up on a day to day basis and really wanted something more natural. She did this this perfectly and asked about what products I felt comfortable using and not using. I can't wait for her to do my hair and make up on my wedding next month!

As far as the actual service, I went for my hair trial and I did not get what i was looking for, but i will not discredit the stylist for her service. i was also told I would see Sara.. that was not who was there for me.upon my arrival

To start, I planned a destination wedding in Lake George, NY, and I booked a hair stylist the week of! Many a bride may find me nuts, but honestly time totally got away from me. Good news, best choice ever because we got Sarah from Lipstick N Lashes to come do our hair.
Sarah was calm, cool, and collected. She arrived early, while I was still in shower, and got right to setting up. Very professional. I loved my hair! My two bridesmaids loved theirs as well! She looked at a picture and did just as we asked. I would honestly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding hair service.

The spa at the Medbery is the best spa in the area! Offering everything from, massages, facials, nail services, hair services, bridal hair and makeup, mineral baths, and a custom blending bar! The knowledgable and friendly staff just make the experience that much more enjoyable. I used Lipstick N Lashes for my wedding in Saratoga. Sarah was super prompt and incredibly talented with hair! I didn't have a chance to do a trial as I live out of state, but I showed her a few pictures and she created an absolute masterpiece that was better than anything I was imagining. She was also very calm when things go a bit stressful!
The stressful part of the day was when I was told the makeup artist had to leave my wedding and go work another. I wasn't aware that she had a different timeline than the one I was told initially, and as a result, I had my makeup done suuuuper

I used Lipstick N Lashes for my wedding in April 2013 and loved them! Joanna was so nice and easy to work with. She did my make-up for the big day. I did not have a trial run for make-up and usually do not wear much (Bare Minerals foundation and blush only - no eye makeup or lipstick during the day). Needless to say I was nervous about how it would turn out for the wedding. I could not have been happier. Joanna is a true artist! I got the airbrush foundation, which was flawless. Joanna also did the make up for three of my brides maids. Everyone loved her work!

Nice job on hair, but they charged way more than was advertised. I had my short hair curled with a curling iron and a small braid put in and they charged $65. Although i was told it would be $25. I was part of a wedding, so they were making a ton of money that day as it was. Seemed pretty greedy. When asked about the charges, they insisted it was an "updo". If it wasnt for that, I would recommend them.
