As a life-long lover of food, Rachel parted from her original career path for the kitchen and moved to New York City to train at the French Culinary Institute, now the International Culinary Center in Manhattan. Definitely 5 star! She brought us what was supposed to be three meals for two people. Not only was the food superb, but the portions were more than generous. I'm dealing with some health issues and my husband is in a very demanding and high stress position that makes coming home and trying to put healthy and good food on the table just beyond impossible.

I cannot say enough about HazelBea. We do the weekly order for a meal for our family of 4. It is always delicious, fresh, and honestly beautiful. Each time my husband and I are blown away by how delicious it is. I am so grateful to have HazelBea in our area! They deliver too!

I love HazelBea At Home. It's great to have the option to pick up or to pay for delivery. The packaging is the most responsible packaging I've seen in the entire New River Valley (as little plastic as humanly possible). And best of all the food is delicious and fresh. It's not like takeout. It's like homemade. Bonus: When I eat HazelBea At Home I am grateful knowing that HazelBea is delivering the same quality food via their Neighbors in Need program to others who might otherwise have access only to non-perishable food pantry options. Rachel and her staff at HazelBea cover all the bases. I can order delicious meals which give me a break from cooking during a busy week, knowing they are healthy and prepared with the freshest local ingredients! The added bonus of their "Curbside Comfort" menu is great on the weekends. I can pick it up hot and bring it home to share with family and friends.

We have really been enjoying our weekly meals (sometimes twice weekly with the weekend 'Curbside Comfort' options) from HazelBea in these strange times. Fantastic food made from ethically sourced local ingredients. So appreciative that Rachel and the team pivoted to this pickup model in the face of these trying times! My husband and I booked HazelBea Catering for our wedding this past September, and we couldn't have been more pleased! From the initial tasting to the actual day, Rachel and her team handled things exquisitely! I remember being really impressed at our tasting because there was so much food to try, and it was all so eloquently presented! And it all tasted amazing! I am a REALLY picky eater too, so, that's saying something. The menu was expansive and could be changed to accommodate anything we could have wanted. The Children's Museum of Blacksburg recently hosted a fundraising luncheon catered by HazelBea and we had rave reviews! The food was exceptional, the service and flexibility of their team was outstanding, and the presentation of the buffet was really well done. Working with Rachel felt like we had a true partner as we planned and executed the event. We're excited for upcoming events with HazelBea and working with a professional team that supports our mission!

We used HazelBea for our mother's surprise retirement party last weekend. It seems sometimes catered food can be a toss up. I have nothing but glowing reviews for Rachel (owner) and HazelBea.
I'll confess up front that I am a BBQ SNOB!!!! I've had it in Kansas City, St. Louis, Memphis, Nashville, Texas and just about everywhere in North Carolina. Rachel has been trained at the prestigious French Culinary Institute in New York City, so I was a bit concerned that she would be able to cook good BBQ...

HazelBea Catering provided service for a memorial service we were having. We had no idea about her food, service, etc. HazelBea went above and beyond our expectations for our event. The service was top notch, the food was fantastic (some of the best BBQ i have ever had) and the staff was very friendly and respectful to our guests. I would highly recommend HazelBea Catering to anyone in the New River Valley for any event, anytime, anywhere. We will be using them again in the future!
