Services
With just five employees, excellent log supply resources, and extensive experience in the Forest Products Industry. Today, Cascade Hardwood and Port Angeles Hardwood are thriving companies that provide high quality Alder, Ash and Maple hardwood lumber for the furniture and cabinet industries worldwide.
Our Sales Group is your best source for high quality Alder, Maple and Ash hardwood lumber from the Cascade Hardwood and Port Angeles Hardwood sawmills. Our convenient single source for quality hardwoods from both of these great sawmills gives you fast personal service, precision graded lumber and the important advantages of a huge inventory to choose from.
Cascade Hardwood LLC is aggressively moving into offering value-added products. We now have the capability to straight line rip 1 edge or to maximum width both edges up to 11 wide. We can gang rip to fixed widths making moulder ready blanks. We can also surface via a straight knife planer to 13/16" or 25/32".
Pallet deck boards are cut-to-length at 40. All the pallet deck boards are graded to the National Wooden Pallet & Container Association (NWPCA) guidelines. Cascade Hardwoods also makes 2" x 4" x 48" (1-1/2" x 3-1/2" x 48" actual) pallet stringers in both notched and un-notched versions.

Cascade's Pallet Stock is part of a unique supply chain in the Pacific Northwest in which shippers bring fruits and vegetables North from the producing farms in California and Arizona. The trucks then return with unitized pallet stock. This creates an efficiency in the supply chain where a truck can return with the equivalent of about 4000 pallets of lumber to an area very close to the farms.
At Cascade Hardwoods we all believe that forest products are preferable materials, not only because they are durable and attractive, but also because they originate from renewable resources. Our resource team buys logs exclusively from forests managed in a sustainable and environment-friendly way.

If you're delivering logs to this location. It is SLOW SLOW. the scale shack is always almost unmanned. So plan on sitting on the scale for about 15 minutes. They need to staff themselves with a full time scaler and one more stacker and operator to up the production time
