Acupuncture is the insertion of thin, filiform needles into acupuncture points. The treatment is minimally invasive and very safe. Modern research has shown acupuncture to be effective for the treatment of a variety of health concerns including pain management, digestive disorders, and women's health.
What is Neuropuncture? Neuropuncture is a system of acupuncture developed by Dr. Michael Corradino that combines ancient acupuncture techniques with modern neuroscience. Neuropuncture uses a set of points that target nerve rich regions of the body for the purpose of modulating, regulating, and rehabilitating the nervous system.
Frequent headaches and migraines are debilitating. They keep you from being productive at work and prevent you from being able to do the things you love. Several large well-conducted clinical trials have demonstrated that acupuncture is an effective treatment to reduce the frequency of headaches and migraines.
Acupuncture is extremely safe. Red Door Acupuncture only uses sterile, single-use disposable needles. Acupuncture has relatively few possible side effects, which may include slight bleeding, soreness or bruising at the acupuncture site. The National Institute of Health (NIH) comments that 'occurrence of adverse events in the practice of acupuncture has been documented to be extremely low.

The team at Red Door Acupuncture do amazing work. I have mild scoliosis (not my fault) and poor posture (totally my fault) so I tend to do a number on my lower back from time to time. It's amazing the renewal I get when I visit Red Door. I am nearly a fully functioning human in a matter of minutes. I have never publicly promoted a local business before, but I really feel that these guys deserve the recognition. I was always skeptical about alternative medicine, but after experiencing great results over the past few years seeing these guys I am no longer a skeptic. They have successfully treated everything from sinus infections to thrown out shoulder using both acupuncture and herbs. What can I say? John and Richelle have always been professional and amazing! I had been skeptical of acupuncture, but when a spinal injury left me bed ridden, John got me up and mobile again. Amazing stuff, acupuncture has helped me with pain management as well as dramatically reducing healing times after injury or strenuous activity.
