Sam's Shoe Service is a second generation family owned business serving Auburn and the surrounding areas since 1950. Sam's Shoe Service originated in 1950 when Sam Sr. came to America from Italy. He was well liked and created a steady customer base at H&L Greens, a department store in downtown Auburn.

There he cobbled shoes and made keys. In 1973 he moved this business to 41 Market Street. There he continued to repair shoes and added a few shoe lines. Sam Jr. started helping out after school when he was in sixth grade. In 1985 he took over Sam's Shoe Service with the intent to increase the retail.

Sam's Shoes is the best place to go for shoe repair, purses etc. The people there are so friendly, helpful, and personable. Sam is a excellent shoe repairer and does awesome work! We are very lucky to have a place to go like this in our area.

50.00 for this quality of work? I dropped shoes off for a popped heal repair. Looks like a child scraped the gold calvin klein logo on both and then wiped glue all over them to let dry. Wont be going back

Awesome place and the best service ever! Jill was very courteous and very knowledgeable about her products. Very happy with what they did to my boots and the new boots that I bought. I will be going back to them for services and shoes!!

I love Sam's Shoe Service!! I needed 2 belt's re-sized and they came back looking like nothing changed on them BUT they were perfect! The belts were EVEN BETTER than when I brought them in! The quality was AMAZING!! I ordered boots and through no fault of Sam's Shoe Service there was a delay! Sam kept me in the loop and solved the problem to the best of his ability!! I only order boots and get leather products fixed opr adjusted at Sam's Shoe Service.

So I have been to Sam's a few times. Once a little over a year ago and then again just recently. I got a new pair of redwings the first time and just recently had them resoled. The work on my old pair of boots is second to none!! Not only were they able to replace the soles with more aggressive tread like I wanted, but also fixed some stitching that was coming apart. I will continue to go here for all boot needs! Friendly service, fair prices and locally owned. Doesn't get any better than that!

It's nice to know you don't have to throw away a favorite pair of shoes or keep buying new ones all the time. Sam's does sell shoes, but they will also repair, stretch, clean the shoes you already own. I also took a purse there to have the straps fixed and it looks great!

I was in there for the first time ever today. I never knew this place even existed till yesterday when a friend told me to check them out for work boots. It is a family run store that knows how to treat customers. From the time we walked in, to the time we left they make you feel welcomed. They fitted me for new work boots, that they had in stock!!! And were even willing to order other boots that I have worn for years.
I highly recommend taking the time to check this place out!!!

Old school service in a friendly environment. They fit you correctly and have a wide selection of Red Wing shoes and boats made in the USA. They are also highly skilled with repairs for all shoes and leather goods. Very fair prices.
