Members First Credit Union
Members First Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative dedicated to meeting the financial needs of our members. We offer the credit union difference where members are owners and treated with an attitude and quality of service that says you come first. We follow the credit union philosophy of 'not for profit, not for charity, but for service'.

So, our profits stay in the credit union allowing us to pay better rates, lower fees, an improving line of products, and enhanced services. Members First began in 1938 and our safety and soundness has never been stronger. We offer the stability you demand in a financial institution and the peace of mind we will be there whenever you need us.

It is our vision to be the preferred financial institution of all our members and our mission to meet our members' financial needs by providing superior service. Teamwork- Credit unions make a difference for their members and the communities they serve.

It's important to truly understand how credit unions are unique, different from banks, and why we remain a necessary and extremely popular financial alternative for many Americans.

Credit unions, unlike many other participants in the financial services market, are exempt from Federal and most State taxes because credit unions are member-owned, not-for-profit organizations managed by a volunteer board of directors, and because they have the specified mission of meeting the credit and savings needs of consumers.Credit unions are an economic democracy.

I have bank with these people for years, but these last couple of months I had been on a bind due to losing a job so I had over-drafted my account for more to than a month, they ended up closing my account and that was ok but what was not ok was I paid off the remaining balance just after they had closeD my account, just to find out they still reported it to credit bureau saying that I still owe them only two days after I had paid it off. Rest assured I will be calling the main office and the credit bureau cause the report is false. Stay away from this bank

Walked in and was greated by Jennifer. Ask what I needed help. I need a account with members first. She then assisted me and talked me through the process and explained all my options. Great communication skills and very understanding standing as well as patient. Answering all my questions before we even got to the paper work. Went over all my benefits of members first. Explained and help me set up my online accounts and app. If needing a bank account she be the person to go see.
Thank you for being awesome.

Have been member since 1990, used to be good old personal service. Recently opened a *dino* account for my grandson, tiffany was so awesome, professional, knowledgeable and courteous in helping us. She's amazing. Went by today to make deposit for my grandson again. The teller was so put out by having to do her job [transact a deposit] very lacking in enthusiasm and patience with me and my 6 yr old grandson. Need to find another bank.
