We've all experienced it. Riding through the fields, enjoying the views of nature and the peace of the land, when all of a sudden, the moment is disrupted by the earth-shattering crack of a rock hitting your cab's window. At The Rock Block, we've designed an aftermarket easy-to-install protective kit for rotary and disc style mowers, hay cutters, and conditioners to shield your tractor from rocks and other flying debris hidden in the field.
Made by Farmers: Our product is made by fifth-generation farmers who set out to find a solution to the dangers of mowing. Choose Your Size: The Rock Block is available in different sizes to fit various mower blades while leaving easy access to blade parts.

Services
The Rock Block is a straightforward concept; provide a safety device that's easy to install and lasts a long time, protecting farmers and their equipment from flying rocks and debris while mowing in the field. As fifth-generation farmers, our family researched available protective products after a close call with a shattered cab window, but nothing provided the peace of mind or ease of use we were looking for.
Rock Block kits are American-made products that install easily on the most popular brands of mowers and Discbines, including John Deere, CNH, MacDon, and Vermeer. Our product is specially designed to provide a more substantial curtain than those produced by mower manufacturers. Our curtain is just under thick and stays ahead of the mower allowing the crop to stand tall for a clean-cut by the blades.
I bought my first disc-style cutter about 10 years ago and was very hesitant because I had heard horror stories about people breaking windows on their tractors. There were other very crude styles of devices, but nothing that I wanted to mess with. I have always liked to build things so I started doing different designs by hanging rubber flaps from a framework.
I bought a Rock Block for my John Deere MoCo in 2014 and have enjoyed the peace of mind when cutting all types of forage. Pocket gopher mounds in fields with gravel spots are no worries since the Rock Block keeps any small stone from breaking out windows or doors on the tractor. Installation was a breeze and I have not had to worry about any maintenance.
