Quality Instruction - Master Jin Hwan Hwang has been studying Tae Kwon Do since the age of six in his native country of South Korea.
Red Tiger Martial Arts is a modern approach to the traditional marital arts school. We combine the traditional aspects of martial arts, such as respect, structure, self-discipline, with a twenty first century twist that will motivate you to reach your goals and become a better person. Red Tiger Martial Arts is designed to get the whole family involved.
Tae Kwon Do (also known as Taekwondo) is the martial art of self defense that came from Korea. It is one of the oldest martial arts in the world (over 2,000 years old). The meaning of the name Tae Kwon Do is an appropriate description of the key elements of this martial art: Tae (foot), Kwon (hand), Do (art).
Red Tiger Martial Arts offers several kids classes from ages 3 and up. All of our classes emphasize the importance of respect towards elders in a family oriented setting. We look forward to having you join our family! Our youngest group starting at age 3. A great start for your child to begin to learn gross motor skills, following directions and self control.

Red Tiger is so much more than an after school program! We see a huge improvement in our son’s behavior and self control. The coaches and the staff deeply care about students and do every to create a family atmosphere. There are also fun holiday parties for kids. Couldn’t be happier with this place!

I signed my son up at Red Tiger a little over a year ago because he was an energetic 4 year old who was like a no limit soldier that didn’t sleep. He would hit his sister, had no problem telling his parents no and just seemed to never stop moving. This year my son started kindergarten and got class role model for accepting others. He doesn’t hit his sister anymore even when she hits him. He can loves school and I can always count on him listening. The Red Tiger family is always welcoming and happy to give you advice and do anything they can to help your child grow and learn.

Grandmaster Hwang and Starry Jhoun have made the name Red Tiger MA synonymous with the words Tae Kwan Do and quality teaching here in Florida, across the nation and worldwide.
She is a dedicated wonder woman who manages a large attendance of youngsters (after school & camps) and runs the business and personnel aspects with GM Hwang. The business is run like a well oiled machine with 100% customer satisfaction from the kids and the parents.
The kids love it and tell me that they want to stay with it even when they are getting ready for school to start up again at the end of vacations.

I studied at Red Tiger for a few years. By far, the best workout around and, as far as martial arts training, Red Tiger’s programs and philosophies are on point for success.

This is a wonderful establishment. The owners are great, friendly and family oriented. From the moment my son started summer camp here we both knew this was where he wanted to be for the school year and going further. He looks forward to every class. I notice him wanting to increase his physical fitness because he says he wants to be strong and healthy. His eagerness to learn and achieve more. It’s been very positive mentally and physically for him. I highly recommend Red Tiger Martial Arts!!!

We have been part of their afterschool program and summer camp for four years, it is truly a special place. The quality of care and teaching is the absolute best. The instructors are knowledgeable, fun, and inspiring and the owners make you feel like family. Both of my children love it there.
Red Tiger is family, respect, and discipline (as in self discipline) oriented. Their teaching and method for interacting with the children increased both of my children's self-confidence and self-control. Highly recommend their programs and classes.

I still love love love this school. The **perfect** blend of self-defense techniques, exercise, philosophy and confidence building. Where else do you get such a mix? This is a wonderful investment in your child's or your own well-being and I highly recommend them! They are fantastic at instructing and their own years of training are evident. This school is the real deal and I highly, highly recommend it.

We've been looking for a great martial arts program for our son around the Sarasota area for almost two years now. After trying many with little to no satisfaction, we received a referral to Master Hwang at Red Tiger Martial Arts and we've been very pleased with their talented staff, as well as how much they care, and how great they are to partner with. We use martial arts for fitness, training, weight loss, discipline, focus, camaraderie, building responsibility and respect and more, and it provides all of these and then some! Recommend this for every child/tween/teen, boy or girl.
