Services
We are DJs that love music. Of course we have that music that speaks to us the most but we like to be able to play great music in any genre. Our main goals are to nail the the style you want and create a musical tapestry that provides the right mood for you and your guests. We are happy to MC any portions of the party that you would like us, for example if you want to make a grand introduction, but we generally don't talk that much.
From start to finish we like to connect with our clients, find out what they want for their party and deliver every time. If you want your party jumping at the end of the night we have you covered. Using a checklist we send you, you can communicate your preferences musically and we fill in the blanks.
We decided to give Jakub a call after he was recommended to us by a few different people. We were very impressed by his professionalism as well as by his knowledge of music. He was easy-going, and willing to be as involved or not involved as we wanted him to be. We gave him a small list of some of our favorite songs and he filled in the rest.

Bright Light Entertainment did an excellent job for our wedding. They were able to accommodate multiple requests, which included extra microphones and stereo equipment for singers and musicians. They also had different areas set up for music, including the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The music selection was excellent. We were able to choose our favorite songs, which we heard, loved, and appreciated. The best part about the night was how Jakub could feel the crowd and keep the party going! No one wanted to stop dancing! I highly recommend their services! 10/10!!!

Due to another DJ canceling on us last minute, my Husband and I were left without a DJ only one week before our wedding. Bright Light Entertainment was the first company we called, and by some crazy odds, Jakub was available! We immediately felt that Jakub was a people person who truly cared about making our big day special. He was very responsive, kind and attentive to all of our needs (even with only a week until our wedding). My husband and I loved working with Jakub from Bright Light Entertainment so much! Leading up to our wedding, he was super attentive and always willing to jump on a call to touch base and make any last-minute changes. We were literally changing songs the night before!
During our reception, he created such a fun atmosphere. All of our guests were dancing all night and he really seemed to get our taste in music and find gems to make sure everyone felt like there was a song they wanted to dance to.

Jakub was absolutely wonderful to work with and was instrumental in making sure our wedding and reception moved along smoothly. He made it very easy to provide songs through a Spotify playlist and also worked closely with our planner to host the event as well. I grew up dancing, so I knew that I wanted the reception/dance party to be epic. Jakub did not disappoint, and people are still talking about how much fun they had! If you are getting married in the Asheville area, I recommend hiring Bright Light Entertainment.

Jakub was such a great DJ!!! He listened to what we wanted and I knew I could trust that he was going to do such a great job based on conversations we had leading up to the wedding. The whole night was so fun because he knew how to liven up the dance floor!! He also mashed together two songs for my father-daugter dance and it was the best!!! I am so happy we chose Bright Light Entertainment for our wedding!!!

Jakub was so easy to work with and flexible. Originally, we weren't sure if we were going to hire live music for the ceremony- Jakub allowed us to book him for the reception with the option to add him for the ceremony if needed (we ended up doing that.) He was able to find specific versions of the songs we wanted played. And most of all, he was understanding and communicative as we tried to determine what to do with our June 2020 wedding amidst the COVID pandemic. In the end, he was a great MC and was able to keep the party going even with our guest list downsized to about 35 people. 10/10 would

Jakub was not only a phenomenal DJ on the day/night of our wedding but he was also super responsive and flexible with us leading up to our big day. This was soo important to us given COVID and the uncertainty of even being able to have our wedding as planned. We ended up switching venues with one month to go but Jakub wasn't phased! He was super professional, yet fun on the day of our wedding and played soo many good tunes ranging from rock and roll to country to rap. Our small group had an absolute blast. I would highly recommend Bright Light Entertainment and Jakub Holy!

Incredible experience, beginning to end. The Bright Light Ent team went above and beyond every step of the way, and were very easy to work with. We had the privilege of having Jakub DJ our wedding day, a true master of his trade who ensured that all DJ related aspects of our wedding would be flawless. Most planning was done long distance as our wedding was in Asheville, NC while my wife and I were located in Colorado. Jakub and team were easy to communicate with, outlining the way forward at each step to make sure we were all on the same page and offered solutions to any concerns. We can't recommend

Choosing Jakub as our D.J. was arguably one of the best decisions we made in planning our Wedding. He was amazing. Not only was he friendly, fun, and outgoing, but he was able to figure out exactly what we envisioned for our Wedding with very little to go on. We sent him a list of a few songs and essentially told him we wanted songs that everyone loves to dance to. ALL of the songs he played were exactly what we were looking for and everyone was on the dance floor throughout the entire night! We would recommend him for anyone who wants to have a great time!

Honestly, I never expected to be overly impressed with a DJ at my Wedding. I knew I didn't want the cheesy guys who sound like they are on a radio station, and I also knew I didn't want the other extreme -- someone who never speaks and forgets that they are actually the host of the evening while running a spotify list in the background. What I didn't expect was someone who guests would still be talking about nearly 3 months later.
