Services
The Nursing Department is staffed 24 hours per day, seven days a week. There is always a Registered Nurse on duty with the help of at least one Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Nurse Aide. The Emergency Room, located in the Acute Care Wing of HCHC, handles patients with speed and efficiency. Lab is capable of performing routine lab tests, including most tests ordered by your physician.
Communicate with your provider easier than ever before with our New and improved AthenaCommunicator online Patient Portal. All of our patients are eligible to register for and use the Patient Portal. With your busy life, it can be hard to stay on top of your family's health care-even though it's the most important thing of all.
The Emergency Room, located in the Acute Care Wing of HCHC, handles patients with speed and efficiency. This unit is always available for medical emergencies, however, if our facility is unable to handle the seriousness of a case, we have the ability to transport a patient by ground or air ambulance.
Surgical procedures are available at HCHC on a scheduled basis. Your physician will call the hospital and the case will be set up on the next available day. We normally do surgical cases once a week. Laparoscopic surgery, such as gallbladder, hysterectomy, EGD, and colonoscopy, are performed by visiting general surgeons.
Intermediate Swing-Bed has 17 beds with the majority of rooms being private. Each room has a hi-lo bed, which allows residents easier access in and out of their bed, a bedside table, a dresser, and bathroom. Residents are encouraged to personalize their rooms. Residents and staff enjoy volunteers who play live music and lead routine church services, as well as a variety of other activities planned throughout the month.

As I am going to school full time and we have no income my son has medicaid insurance, billing told me that they

My family has used this facility many times in the past 30 years, and we have always appreciated the dedicated staff and medical personnel...as well as the amenities for families who are visiting.
