I'm Katelyn, esthetician since 2012 and owner of Skinplicty by Katelyn Krisitne. I have always loved serving others and making others feel special. After graduating with a degree in communications I decided to go back to school for esthetics where I could blend those two passions of mine. I started out specializing in Brazilian waxing and sugaring, where I strive to make people feel comfortable in a uncomfortable situation.
I still specialize in all body sugaring and waxing as well as provide top quality skincare and lash services. I take a lot of time researching the products I use and participate in continuing education to stay up to date. Services
Sugaring is a natural form of hair removal using a mixture of sugar, water and lemon juice. This method of hair removal is great for clients with sensitive skin, are ingrown prone and those sensitive to temperatures. With both sugaring and waxing, consistent treatments will result in hair growing back finer, thinner and less.

I have been seeing Katelyn for years and she is amazing. I got my first Brazilian wax from her and have stayed! When she was in maternity leave, I had to see someone else (I saw two different people) and they weren't anywhere near as good as she is. I honestly won't go anywhere else again, she is professional, helps you be at ease, knowledgeable about products...I could go on! You won't regret booking with her

Great experience! Katelyn was professional, polite, and quick and I appreciated the suggestions she gave for caring for my skin after sugaring. Her space is nice and clean, too. Although she gets booked up, she has flexible hours, which I appreciate. Her online booking option is helpful and the location is super easy to get to, especially from Proctor or the North End. I recommend Skinplicity over any other hair removal studio in Tacoma.

I HIGHLY recommend Katelyn and Skinplicity at Jades Salon and Spa. She is professional, efficient and cares about your satisfaction with each appointment and her work. She does a very thorough and quick sugaring service and gives tips or advice for your individual skin concerns. Been going to her every 2 months or so for almost 2 years now and absolutely satisfied.

Ive been to a few different salons to recieve Brazilian sugaring services, and Katelyn is by far the best ive ever been to. Ive been sugaring for over 3 years now and after switching over to her location i will NEVER go anywhere else! She's amazing, super quick, straight to the point and even helps out with ingrown issues! Highly recommend!
