We are located in Ellensburg in the heart of beautiful Washington State! This area boasts some of the best fly-fishing for Rainbow Trout, along with unlimited possibilities for outdoor recreation. Besides fly-fishing, river rafting, hiking, biking, horseback riding, wildlife photography and water sports, the main attraction to Ellensburg is the warm sunshine.

Other reviews seem a bit out of line, or by people that expect a more catered and upscale experience provided by larger, corporate owned RV resorts. Our experience with the owners and staff was extremely accommodating. We spoke to them on the phone prior to arriving and explained that we would be arriving late because we would be arriving from a wildfire camp (we are firefighters) that could not accommodate our trailer. The owner was friendly, and even made an exception to allow a third dog. We arrived after 9 pm and were met at the gate. Even if they were understandably annoyed at our late arrival

Yakima River RV Park is quiet and beautifully kept. The best part is that the owners really care about their guests. We arrived for a one night stay but our rig broke down and we were forced to spend several days until our 5th wheel could be taken away. The owners were very patient and kind to us. We really appreciate them and their wonderful park.

Office staff were very rude! I was told my dog was not allowed to stand on the lawn outside of my campsite (she was not using the grass to potty)When I moved her three inches into the gravel, the owner responded rudely with “thank you, read the signs!” Our family got a nasty note on their trailer door because their sewer hose was on the gravel instead of on the hose supports. AND another complaint because he was standing on grass that was not at his campsite. We all felt like we were under constant observation which interfered with our plan to just relax for the weekend.

We found ourselves in a jam with our camper lights not working correctly, after trying to fix them for over two hours we were worried about going any further, as it was getting dark. We called on the Friday before a holiday, hoping beyond hope to find a place for our family. They accommodated us for the first night in a grassy area, made sure we were all set up. Then asked if we'd like to take over a reservation someone else had canceled for a full hook up. Great prices, very quite, beautiful place to enjoy the sunset.

We have never stayed here before but will definitely be back! Super clean, very secure with a locked gate entrance and very helpful staff! Thanks to Cathy & Randy for being so helpful! My granddaughter loved finding the little Ferry’s that had a inspirational message attached, and the painted rocks. Your 9 minutes from downtown Ellensburg and surrounded by mountains and it’s so quiet and restful. The Wi-Fi is not very strong and there is a train that makes some noise every now and then but I think it adds to the romance of the campground if you want rest you want to relax and feel safe this

1 star based primarily on poor customer service. I booked over the phone and was never informed that check in time strictly ends at 6 pm. Why they wouldn’t send a follow-up email with this information is beyond me. We were called by an obviously ticked off person at about 6 pm, demanding to know where we were. This person was exceedingly rude when I told her we were still an hour away due to issues with our travel day, adding extra stress to an already stressful day. Only upon arriving we discovered that we would be charged $22 for a late fee. Also, we discovered a $15 cancellation fee even if

Front office staff was not friendly. No bathrooms or showers. Pretty setting. Horse shoes. But I won’t be back. (Note that in the owner's response, the owner blames me for the office staff being unfriendly - my car was blocking traffic. This is not why the office staff was unfriendly. But I think the owner's reply proves my point.)

We started having issues with our tow vehicle about 15 miles from this park. Kathy was super friendly and helpful on the phone. They had one site available for the night and a different one for the next night. But our tow vehicle was going to be in the shop so no way to move trailer. They originally offered to move the trailer for us so that we could stay 2 nights, but then they were able to shuffle people around so we didn’t have to move. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The owner, Darlene, checked on us a couple times throughout our stay. We felt safe and supported even in

Nice park. Some shade. It's at the end of a road, with a field of bulls next to it. Seemed quiet, did hear a few train whistles. We only stayed one night so had a sight with no sewer, however they do have sights with sewer. No cable, and WiFi was non existent. Check in was easy and lady was very nice. Easy off the highway. We stayed here with plenty of room in a pull thru sight in our 40ft fifth wheel.
