A-Z Water Systems is a full service water treatment company specializing in "out of water" calls and water filtration. We do everything from drilling your well to making sure your drinking water is clean and safe. We treat your water as if we were giving it to our own children. Carl Levesque, the owner, has been in the water industry since 1986.
There are three types of affordable water treatment systems commonly used in private homes to treat water for a variety of contaminants: water filtration, reverse osmosis and ion exchange. It may be necessary to remove a contaminant because it's unhealthful to consume. Some examples are arsenic, nitrate and volatile organic compounds.
Germs (bacteria and viruses) can get into well water if the well casing is damaged or if you have a dug or shallow well. THE RESULT: Both germs and chemicals may cause unpleasant symptoms, such as upset stomach or the runs (diarrhea). Some of the chemicals also increase the chance of cancer. Even if you've had water testing done before, it may be time to test again.
Most wells in Maine use the rotary drilling method for a well installation, a drill bit is attached to a length of connected drill pipe. The drill bit is made of tough metals such as tungsten, and as the drill is rotated, the bit acts to grind up the rock. The broken pieces (cuttings) are flushed upward and out of the hole by circulating a drilling fluid (sometimes called drilling mud) down through the drill pipe and back to the surface.
PROBLEM: Customer had us test the water and determine there was high uranium. SOLUTION: Installed a whole house uranium ion exchange system along with a PH neutralizer to raise PH levels. PROBLEM: Customer contacted us to perform a water test at their lake house. Results indicated high uranium.
SOLUTION: Installed a 410 sediment filter along with a complete house uranium removal system followed with a PH neutralizer and also installed a UV light system per the customer's request.When my water stopped working I figured I'd need a new pump for the well. Carl drove over an hour to my house to check it out and figured out it was some wires in the well that needed fixing and the pump was fine.

I called and asked for help with me drilled well. Two men arrived in a nice work van. I greeted them and asked if they wanted to start at the well head. Their response was, "we don't do wells, that's another division in our company". We discussed my well water concerns and they indicated that the problem was possibly in the well (foot valve, check valve, we don't know). Our discussion lasted about fifteen minutes during which they made it clear that they didn't know what the problem was. As they were departing they said they would relay my questions the well division

I recently had a radon system installed that has been problematic. The caulking on the side of the house started dripping down the house, there is significant condensation on the system and it's very loud..
When the service tech came here this morning he was dismissive and condescending. If you want a hack job and to be treated poorly than this is the company for you.

Our water stopped working late on Sunday afternoon. I left a message on their voicemail explaining my situation. They called early Monday morning and made an appt for me that afternoon. They showed up when they said they would, accessed the situation and replaced the well water pump within a few hours. Excellent, quick and courteous service. I would highly recommend this company.

I was incredibly impressed with Carl and his team. I just recently moved to Maine from out of state so finding a great company that is reliable isn't as easy when you are new to the area. Carl made the process easy to understand and I was able to get in for an appointment quickly. When the installer arrived, he was on time and did a great job explaining the process of how the water system would work and how the system would be installed. Carl stopped by to evaluate my well pump needs, explained what I needed, what the process involved and how long it would take. He answered all my questions. They returned the next week and completed the well pump install and filter within two hours. Work area was kept neat and clean. A-Z Water Systems has all my future well water needs.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my water needs! I bought a new house that had a filtration system installed and I have been having problems with it from the beginning. I have had others come look at it and charge me a fortune with no success.
A-Z water systems was recommended to me by a friend so I gave them a call. Best decision I ever made.
I don’t remember her name, but the lady who scheduled my appointment was wonderful! She put me on the schedule, but when she heard that my system was constantly beeping she offered to try and move things around to find a date sooner.
