I went in to buy some chairs. I asked the price of a chair and purchased 2. They delivered the wrong chairs. Luckily I had taken a picture of the chair. After a long back and forth the sales person had sold me the wrong chairs. They said they would honor the price and order me the chairs as they didn’t have any in the warehouse. They said it would be 8 weeks. I called 7 weeks later to check on the status. Apparently they never placed the order. Its beyond belief how much they screwed up. They lost a good customer forever!

I LOVE this store!! I can always find something I need, well actually want lol. Very sweet, knowledgeable staff who have helped me decorate my home and it looks fabulous if I do say so myself lol. No matter what you're looking for you will find it here. They have interior designers on staff to help you, if you wish. So, stop by and I know you will fall in love with Urban just like I have.

Every piece speaks casual elegance. I'm so tickled to have stumbled in, never knowing they were there. What a great asset Urban Home Market is to Birmingham. I was so impressed that I called my daughter on the spot, sending her pictures of many of the beautiful pieces I thought she could use. Beautiful furniture! We just bought new furniture for our house from Urban Home Market. The staff was wonderful! Their decorator will come to your house for free and help you pick out what works best. We bought dining room furniture, chairs for the den & bedroom, accent tables and a buffet for the kitchen. It was able to be delivered the same day! Absolutely love everything! The prices are very reasonable.
The decorator is coming back in a few weeks to help with accessories.

I visited this brand new store this week. Urban Home Market is pretty much a unique shopping venue for the 280 corridor. The home furnishings items have a lot of unique and out of the ordinary kind of things.
The general theme is kind of a rustic, urban, industrial focus. Lots of metal and reclaimed wood things. They have a design service too.
They are off to a good start, I hope they will be very successful!
