Roaches, Roaches and Roaches in my unit. I have asked few different people in the same building and they also confirmed that they have Roaches in their unit. The more they treat, the worse it gets. I am so mad . Having to live with roaches is so very unhealthy and unsanitary. Roaches are every where. I am having to store few of my clean dishes in my refrigerator because I just don't know what else to do. Some people might say (Move). I have been looking to move since November 2020 but didn't find an affordable place. I am in the situation of "You get what you pay for". No one

738 W Briar is well maintained and in a great location. John in particular is extremely helpful at guiding you through the leasing process. Any maintenance requests were addressed quickly, and I always felt like Moore was very fair and I trusted them to do the right thing. Overall, they were excellent property managers.

After 8 months of living here, I can tell John and Virginia really care about their clients. They've been a great help, whether it is for small maintenance calls or just information on billing.

I never leave reviews but I've had an amazing experience with these guys! I live in the Briar Pl location and everything in my studio is modern, clean, and updated. I've sent in 3 maintenance requests and every single time someone was there within 24 hours. I truly wish I didn't have to leave, only leaving because my friend wants to get a 2-bedroom with me.

I'd recommend them to rent a apartment from. Very responsive to phone and texting when need something fixed or need to reach them for anything. Everyone I interacted with was personable and understanding. Responded pretty well when things needed fixing, not great but not bad. They clean the hallways well and have pest control come regularly.

I lived with Moore Investment Properties for 5 years in two different properties in Chicago. I loved every minute of it and the staff was amazing! John and Jeff completely took care of us and responded immediately to all of our needs. Including the fact that within living there for the first month during a blizzard , my windows needed replacing and they had it done two days later! My fiancé who was raised and lived in Chicago his whole life and moved in with me my last year there and he said he had never worked with a better landlord! I was so sad when we had to move for work, but I could not

Wow these guys are good. The whole rental experience in Chicago usually ranges from just okay to very bad, but not here. The Briar building is well-organized, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Maintenance is very responsive.

I lived in a Moore property for 5 years. The staff members were kind, caring, and went out of their ways to solve any problem that came up immediately. Both move in and move out were flawless - they truly want to make the process as easy as possible. If I wasn't leaving Chicago, I would absolutely stay with Moore as long as possible. You will not find staff as great as Moore anywhere else in the city! Thanks for many wonderful years and a solid apartment I could call home!

I live in Kenmore Ave for almost 2 years and all staff are well communicate. They have pet control come every month and always clean the Hall way. Also maintenance is fast and good if you need to fix something.

I have lived in a Moore property this past year. I have found management very responsive and the building clean, safe, and secure. They also invest in landscaping and maintain a lovely garden in our courtyard.

I live in one of the buildings which is under management of this company. I have never had package stolen before until a pass fees month I got stolen 4 times and everytimes I asks for help but they just said it happens everywhere in the City until 2 days ago one of my neighbor post one paper in front of the building about one doughbag steal her/his all the time too. Is this still normal? We f**kin have a thife in the building!!! This is not normal you guys should act!!!!! Not just lets this happens again and again I dont mind to buy a camera to catch a thife by myself but I want you to do something

I never realized how phenomenal of a property management company Moore Investment is until I moved out a few months ago. I stayed in my unit for 13 months. John was the property manager for my building and he was great. I would call him up with a problem and within 24 hours, someone would be there to look at it and fix the issue. I toyed with the idea of ending my lease sooner and he worked with me on that along with when I changed my mind and actually ended up staying a month longer! I now live in a property managed by Local By Laramar in the same area and they're horrible. I hope to find

I have been living in a one-bedroom at Surf building for several months and the staff have been extremely responsive to my needs. They replaced my fridge within days of my request and even helped to secure my own personal air conditioning unit. The appartment itself is clean, full of sunlight and in a prime location with access to shops, great restaurants, gyms etc. Great management, easy move-in...

They are awesome landlords! I have been living in Chicago a little over 4 years now, and have never had landlords respond as quickly to something important in my apartment which needed to be taken care of pretty quickly, and they did!

I have lived at the Surf location for almost 4 years now. I love my apartment, the location, and the staff at Moore Investment. The only reason I am moving is to get a dog. Otherwise I would have renewed. I had very minimal service calls, but when I did they were very quick to fix them. I highly recommend this location and this company.

Stay away from these guys.

They cancelled my showing without telling me, then tried to get me to sign without seeing the place. Very Very Shady. Also, the apartments were very different from what was in the photos.

It wasn't cleaned when I moved in, and they never finished painting.

Roaches. All. Damn. Year.

John at the Winthrop location seemed really nice, but it doesn't make up for the rest of the experience.

Terrible washer/dryer setup.

Bike was stolen from the bike area, and they didn't help one bit. So those security cameras might not even be turned on.

To start, I have to say it is not easy to find the perfect combination of a great place and great management in Chicago. I've been in Chicago since 2009, and when my now fiance found an ad for the apartment I ended up signing on, I thought: "Great, at least the place is fantastic." Central Air, cable (with HBO), internet, a dishwasher, the list could go on for a while. I had not had much experience with the management, but just from signing my lease I could tell they were professional.

I just moved out of the 2827 N. Burling property and it was the grossest place I've ever lived in. The stove didn't work for 4 months, the shower water pressure was terrible, the kitchen sink water was a trickle (which they said was the best that they could do), the heat is never on and when it is it's scorching hot, and there are COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE!! Even the maintenance men in the building used my bathroom when I wasn't home and left the toilet seat up, basically going into my apartment with telling me. GROSS.

And on top of all of these issues, they were going to raise

When I was looking into places to rent when I moved to Chicago and first decided to go with a "apartment finding" company (I would consider it more as a waste of time than anything), I was extremely disappointed and a little nervous because all the places I was being shown were such a mess and disgusting.

An employee at this office building signed and accepted my package. I found this via ups tracking info. I called multiple times and even met this and other office employee but none of them told me the truth. long story short, one week later, i went again and there i see the package in office, fully opened, torn apart, boxes missing. this is not only wrong but is a criminal act!

I have lived at the "Edward Property" on Surf now for two years in a one bedroom apartment and I have had ZERO complaints. I am not sure why the others have given such negative reviews?

They added a dishwasher when I asked for one, and every time I called/texted to have something fixed it was taken care of the next day or the day afterward. My apartment has gorgeous new windows, the complex was always clean and I never had troubles doing my laundry.

The location is great too! Right by the lake, restaurants and Walgreens. I really dont have any complaints.

At first everyone was very friendly and willing to work with a students schedule and finances. One month in to my rent at 2827 N Burling my stove/oven broke and they refused to fix or replace it. They suggested that I stick my hand into the back of my oven to light the pilot every time, which is dangerous! After it broke completely they replaced it but did not replace the hose which was rotten through. After the new oven was installed it was leaking gas into my unit for days while they never answered their "Emergency Hotline." They later stated that it never rang and was all due

Well until it is time to move...watch out bc your lease has a clause in there stating that you will be fully vacated from the premesis by 11 am on the last day of lease or they charge you like $80.00 PER HOUR FOR EACH HOUR "HELD OVER" I AM NOT EXAGGERATING... Convenieintly enough for them i had a security deposit so they just kept that $1000.00 i am so glad that i held back on paying the last months rent in full bc i am sure they were planning on keeping my security deposit all along. By the way i kept the apt in great condition as they gave it
