Brought in a large cushion and material to upholster. Was told it we would cost $400 (despite me providing all material) and take 4-6 weeks I really needed cushion for the holiday, so I paid.
6 weeks came and went… zero call from Sterling Upholstery. I called them a few days later (on Dec 20th)… listened to a message that they are now on “a break” until Jan 6th. I was told my cushion would be ready by Dec 17th at the latest!!!!! No phone call. No cushion! And now I need ti wait until after Jan 6? My guests get to sit on bed pillows?

I can't rave enough about the amazing job Sterling Upholstery did on my sofas and large chair. I love this furniture - but after 25 years, it was showing a lot of wear. It took me so long to find comfortable furniture that I didn't want to buy new - I just wanted my old furniture to look new. Well, it does! Not only that, the price was incredibly reasonable, the work was done so well and they were so accomodating about scheduling the pick up, work, and delivery around other work being done at my house. I will definitely use them again!

Sterling Custom Upholstery does excellent work and has staff who know fabrics and can give professional guidance. We had an old sofa that we loved, but the fabric and cushions were at the end of their life. We are thrilled that we now have a beautiful, like-new addition to our living room, in a fabric texture and color we'll enjoy for years to come. Re-upholstery is an environmentally, sustainable choice. Glad to recommend this business.

We were looking to replace dining room chairs that had been damaged by kittens and a puppy over the years but couldn't find any in a matching style. Sterling Custom Upholstery replaced the upholstery and padding and they look just like new. No need to replace the whole dining set now! We were very happy with the service and results.
