Fob James IV is a trial attorney specializing in catastrophic personal injury and fraud cases. After working for a large regional firm for several years where he obtained awards for both individual and corporate clients, Fob found that his passion was fighting for individuals who have been seriously injured or wronged by others.
Dillon Hobbs is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, and he attended law school at Samford University Cumberland School of Law. He has several years of experience representing either plaintiffs or defendants in personal injury cases in Alabama. His experience and insight provide a unique and advantageous perspective in representing individuals harmed because of the wrongful actions of others.
At Fob James Law Firm, we are committed to helping individuals that sustain personal injuries. We want to hear from law students about the challenges they've dealt with and how that's impacted who they are today. We are asking students to write a 300-400 words essay about the following: Describe how you plan on giving back to your community once you become a lawyer.
The Fob James Law Firm is proud to offer a scholarship reflecting the importance of diversity within the workplace. In an effort to promote diversity within the workplace and offering one student $1,000 to put towards their college education. A student must currently be enrolled in an accredited university beginning the Fall of 2022.
In an effort to reduce the risk of drinking and driving we are proud to present free holiday cab and ride-share rides for you! We care about our residents in Birmingham and Montgomery, and we want to give back by offering free cab, Uber or Lyft rides in an initiative to prevent drinking and driving.

Attorney Fob James represented me in my car wreck and it went smoother than what I was expecting. Attorney James kept me informed and was very easy to communicate with. I settled the case for exact amount he thought the case was worth and the process took exactly how long he estimated. Even though my case was done Fob texted me on Christmas to see how I was doing. I must admit I was a little hesitant because with all the local lawyer in my area why would I want a lawyer that is over 100 mile away and I am also very skeptical when it comes to lawyers from my previous experience with a few.

I got hurt falling in a store and Attorney Fob James represented me. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and never got irritated when I called him. I hired Attorney James after the company offered several hundred dollars. Attorney James had my best interest and filed lawsuit. After the lawsuit went on for a while the company settled and I am very happy with the result. Fob James Law Firm treats you like family and like you are their only client.

I blindly chose a law firm to work on my auto accident case (it was getting close to the statute of limitations and was not excited about getting a lawyer…then a found Dillion Hobbs and he has gone above and beyond.
