The first Main Event center opened in Lewisville, Texas, in 1998 because the founders believed that families deserved a better place than the league-driven, dusty bowling centers of the past. Oh my goodness, where to start. We were on vacation late last year. Called them to let them know that it was my daughter's birthday. Arrived and they gave the girls extra tickets. We ordered pizza and the guy that took our order was friendly and kept checking on us. Every member of staff made my girls feel very special. It was during the week and we were pretty much the ONLY ones there. Music was not too loud and we would definitely go again when back in the area. Thank you to the Sales Event Manager who started the visit off so graciously and the rest of the staff!! My daughters still talk about

Beautiful location. This was my first visit to the location and wow it is HUGE! The service was average and drinks were yummy. I was unable to schedule a lane in advance so received one of the lanes they hold for walk-ins. Unfortunately, our lane and the one next to us experienced issues about 4 times during the two-hours we scheduled so that was a bit frustrating since both lanes had to stop bowling until the issue was fixed. Will be back but hoping to not have the same lane issues as we did.

We had a good time while we were here... but man did it hurt the bank account. When did places like this start charging an arm and a leg?!
We ate here and the food was decent. Nothing to go crazy over but definitely not bad.

This was by far the worst experience I had at a business. When we came in we were told that it was short staff and wait times were longer the usual which was completely understandable. However the atmosphere and the level or service from staff was completely unacceptable. They took being understaffed as if they were not supposed to treat people with great customer service and go above and beyond to make everyone experience good. The bar was a complete mess and staff was rude. It was a lot of staff not assisting customers and joking around. People were all over doing whatever because staff was not

I ended up visiting this location due to founders day weekend. I hadn't walked around to see the location but we were back by the playroom 2, different waitresses were taking orders, There were a lot of us but the service was slow. I had ordered a Strawberry mojito from the waitress and it was never received. I had to go to the bar to order another. The waitress came back to me to ask about the drink which I told her I never received but brought my friends theirs after a while. Majority of the arcade games don't work or they're missing parts. Some of the games cut off while using them. The manager was suppose to refund us some game credits but never came. The employees were even frustrated with the manager because he pretended like he couldn't hear the employees calling for him. Try to go at the least packed hours. The other customers are very rude. My son was on an arcade game and nearby were young children about to fight because they lost at a game and one female child kept calling other kids derogatory terms.

I brought a large group here without pre-booking, and on New Years Day, no less. They did a fantastic job of accommodating. The server at our lanes was pleasant and helpful. My only complaint was they were pretty slow to get things out to us and respond to requests, or even check on us. I would normally be a bit more understanding of this but there was literally no one else in the place. We asked for an extra cup once and we were told by the front desk operator after some deliberation that they "didn't have any" . I didn't understand how a place of their size could be out of

Slow and not so great service, drinks had little to no alcohol in them which was extremely disappointing due to the price point. Food was delivered to our table that when didn't order and then staff berated us for a mistake that wasn't even our own, manager was rude and unwilling to talk through our dissatisfying experience. Also charged for items we did not buy, management needs to step up the game if they want people to come back.

I come here frequently, not always perfect but not bad. This time around I was shocked! As an active retail district store manager in the city of Atlanta (Lenox Mall), Jessie, the manager, absolutely the best. I would steal him if I could. My grandpa passed a few weeks back, we buried him today. Instead of dragging my sisters to a sad repast that they weren't of age to understand I figured let's get active, go bowling, and celebrate the long life he was able to live. I can't say how the place was because the line was wrapped around the lobby. I've been plenty of time before covid, so I'm assuming this is covid related. We went upstairs to the movie , but didnt stay. Walked back down and the line didnt look like it had moved. I guess if you want to go just pack your patience.

I came in and purchased laser tag for my daughter and she wasn't tall enough so they sent me upstairs to the manager Jesse, told him what happened he offered a refund for the trouble also gave my daughter a game card to play video games. She absolutely loved that, he even gave her a stuffed animal out of winners choice, which really made her day. It's always the little things for kids and as long as she's happy I am too. But it really showed that he cares about his job and really loves to see kids have fun. My daughter definitely will remember this for the next time we come. This

Had a good time, a little celebration before 2 of my sons head off to college. We hit the arcade, laser tag, and bowling. Wanted to try out the rope course however the attraction closed early. All games were working, although the football game (my favorite) was short of footballs so that was a little disappointing.
Overall a pleasant experience- a clean establishment, friendly reception and fun for the whole family!

Met family here for the first time. It was great! The bowling area had cool lighting, and the lanes let you set bumpers per person (easy to bowl with kids and adults). They also have complimentary socks, if anyone needs some. The arcade has some unique stuff, and there's a ropes course above it. I didn't do the actual math, but it felt like the games were generous in points and the prize shop had reasonable ticket/point prices compared to some arcades we've been to. I have been to Main Event Atlanta numerous of times throughout the years with my children and entire family many times and spent thousands of dollars. I went on Monday after Six Flags was extremely too crowded with my son and his friends and also my adult brother and my other family.
First off, customer etiquette is completely non existent. We went to celebrate Father's Day with family friends and as you can imagine it was pretty busy and lines were long. Food was pretty good and didn't take too long. It was hard to enjoy our time though because it was really hot for some reason. Also, our waitress was on the move constantly so it was hard to get her attention and things we needed. Other than that we enjoyed bowling!

I placed the below photos just so, everyone is aware that I actually have been here. These photos were taken in the first 10 minutes of us being there. When we still had hoped for this place being any semblance of good.
1) For the love of everything precious don't be a walk-in. All the arcade games are the basic ones you find anywhere but, ALL dual player games had one side that was busted or was in clear need of recalibration. Anything worth actually doing like bowling and laser tag you must schedule. Then the website list gravity ropes but, I couldn't find that anywhere in the building

It was pretty busy when we got there. Probably the reason why the server took awhile to get to us. The snacks were good! I love the cheese bites and Long Island was pretty good too.
I just noticed, some seats and tables were still greasy on our lane. We had to wipe it down ourselves just to be sure. Not everyone was wearing their mask but thankfully the people on both side of our lane were wearing theirs. Social distancing is not that strictly implemented.
We had fun tho. So 4 out of 5. If our tables and seats were a little cleaner, would have been 5.
