Our goal in the PRMC Chronic Pain Program is to improve your overall quality of life mentally, physically and socially, and allow you to return to the highest possible level of function and independence. Our program of treatment is designed to control pain and help you overcome problems that develop because of chronic pain, such as anxiety, depression, irritability, insomnia, overuse of narcotic pain medications and relationship stress.
Our compassionate and highly skilled treatment team will work with you in our individualized program to find the best combination of treatments to help you return to meaningful activity in your life and reduce your reliance on the healthcare system. A very strong pain medication in use in Europe since the 1960's but little known in the US is the mainstay medication of our pain treatment program.
