I met and booked Stylus at a bridal show after getting a great sense of how fun all of the guys on staff are. The online planning tools were really helpful as we began trying to organize our ideas on song selections and the flow of our reception. The song suggestion lists helped point us in the right direction whenever we felt stuck.
The Photo Booth was so much fun! Thanks so much for everything. Our guests loved it and all the props were perfect. We loved the boards that people could write their messages on and our album is still sitting right out front because people want to see it when they visit. We hired DJ and photoBooth for the 1980s party and were very disappointed with the DJ. I could not even imagine it is possible to have such a bad choice of music. Well, when people don’t have desire to dance, it is a problem. He had no idea of 1980s hits, every time a guest would come up and request a song, his answer was either I don’t have it or I am playing what I want. I was the host of the party, came up to him and asked to play Bon Jovi, he had an attitude with me and said I got other request from the guest and that’s what I am playing. I don’t ask to stop what he was playing but

We feel so lucky to have had J-Star DJ our wedding! She did such a good job of guiding us through selecting our playlist, which took some patience! The website and documents she shared helped walk us through it very clearly. She even mixed a custom song for our first dance! She was an excellent MC and mixed a varied playlist perfectly. Jason (owner of Stylus S.E.) is absolutely phenomenal! He is extremely professional, warm, experienced and helpful during the entire process. He covered every detail, working tirelessly to ensure we were pleased and had a magical wedding day. The package we selected was top notch, it included floor fog (like walking on a cloud) uplighting, a custom monogram (initials) projected on the wall and sparkler fountains. We are SOO pleased and will be suggesting him to everyone!

We got married Sept 2020 at Highgrove Estate, and could not have asked for a better DJ and team to work with on our wedding day. Jason was amazing to work with leading up to our wedding. We were originally supposed to get married in May, but due to COVID we had to move our wedding day. Jason was so understanding and made the process of changing dates stress free! We absolutely loved having Jason from Stylus SE as our DJ. We had seen him a two different weddings previously and knew we had to have him at ours. He's amazing at mixing songs and can really read the room as well. Not only did he help us with music, but he also helped us figure out our timeline and was very professional in terms of set up and communicating with other vendors the day of the wedding. You can really tell that he loves what he does and he made our wedding so much fun!

Jason is AWESOME!!! We used Jason for both our ceremony and our reception and he was on point with all of the music selections. He listened to what we wanted and made it absolutely perfect. Not only is he professional but he is down to earth and fun and makes the whole process easy. Our guests kept raving about how fun our wedding was and no one wanted to leave the dance floor once the wedding was over. If we could do it all again we would have Jason there again in a heart beat. Highly recommend Stylus for your wedding day, especially if your guests like to party.

My fiance and I chose Stylus because we love hearing him at Cornerstone, Downtown Raleigh. He has an amazing personality and was consistent in making sure he knew exactly what we wanted. On the wedding day, I noticed a monogram lit up on the dance floor that I did not authorize, I had made an extensive list of songs using his online program and only heard about 1/4 of them and his MC skills were spotty. The entrance into the reception wasn't ideal and my parents last name was mispronounced and some of my bridal party was introduced with jokes while others werent. Overall I love Jason and his work

Jason DJ'd for our wedding ceremony and reception and he was absolutely phenomenal! The online portal that Stylus uses for you to submit your wedding timeline, must-play music choices, ceremony music etc. is very professional and extremely helpful! We are a couple who is really big on music, so it was really important for us, and Jason did not disappoint. We gave him a list of songs and based off of that list he did an incredible mix with songs he added. Aside from when we ate, I don't think we sat down once during the reception. The lighting he provided was also great.

We received so many compliments on the Music/Overall theme of our reception, thanks in large part to Jason, his demeanor, how he kept the party going. This wedding would have been a near-disaster without Jason Huggins/Stylus SE. I had no idea what to expect from a DJ, and initially wasn't even planning on using one at our Sunday morning wedding, given the early hour, but I am so grateful that I did! We hired Stylus for our wedding. Our DJ, Eric, worked around our schedules to meet with us before the wedding and had lots of good suggestions for music. The whole stylus team was available via email or phone.
