Needed urgent palm stump removal during the middle of a contractor job for new paver deck. Derek, from The Branch, had very fast response time and was able to come out to the site within one business day from initial contact. His price was very competitive and knew I did not need to look any further. He got stump removal done quickly and ensured the depth of the grind to lower root system was successful. I can't say enough about the team at the Branch. Derek and Trevor are professional, courtesy and extremely knowledgeable. They gave me a very reasonable quote for a difficult project in clearing out my back and side yards which included 12 palms, two big ficus trees, two pear trees and many other small bushes and plants. They set up the work appointment date and finished the project in two days. Trevor and his team did a great job, were very careful in not damaging any hardscape and cleaned up everything. The team at The Branch is truly a pleasure to work with and my lovely crepe myrtle tree has never looked happier. They did a beautiful job trimming the crepe myrtle, as well as removing other trees and shrubs on the property.
I did my research looking specifically for a certified arborist who was state licensed and fully insured and am so pleased with the result. They were easy to work with, efficient, and took safety of themselves and the property seriously.
I'll definitely be calling them again for planting help once I decide on my new tree and landscape plans.

The Branch team was really great to work with. They returned my phone calls right away, gave a very reasonable quote, provided a schedule and kept it, showed up on time ready to go with their team and equipment, kept Safety first, very professional, always courteous, and cleaned up after their work was complete. Trevor Long and his crew did a fantastic job. We had two large trees to manicure instead of removing: Large Ash Tree and a Canary Pine. In addition, we had other trees cared for or removed and the stumps ground. We highly recommend them for all tree work.

Everyone was wearing a mask when they showed up. They were responsive to my messages and getting the quote was as easy as sending a picture. The price they quoted was in line with others that I got to trim the few palms right in front of my house. I chose The Branch based on their photos and previous reviews being better than I saw on the other companies.

These guys are our go to for tree shaping, removal, etc. we first used them in 2018 to remove trees and prune our Cal Pepper tree. And twice after that. Trevor did the climbing, cutting... they had guys on the ground to tidy up, get removed material through the chipper, etc.
Trevor first came out to assess our needs and quoted. All so quickly, too. We lucked out on getting our project completed. They were pretty booked up through late Jan/early Feb 2021. An opportunity came up. They completed our request in an afternoon and what a job!

Found these guys from the stellar reviews and wanted to support local San Marcos business! Trevor gave a very reasonable online quote and was able to schedule me in to have two Queen Palms removed. Trevor and his crew were on time, very friendly, and did an excellent job! I had a very strange and narrow backyard entry width, and Trevor took the time to find a solution to make it work to get the stump grinder into the backyard.
By far one of the greatest experiences and would go back to Trevor and his guys for any tree needs!

Perfect! Trevor clearly knows what he's doing [if you care about your trees, work with an arborist like Trevor]. He and his crew were exceedingly conscientious about their work - both for us and our neighbors [checking in with us at different steps of the project]. They removed a few trees; did stump grinding; pruned; and planted a new tree. We could not be happier with their work and how clean they left our home and neighborhood. I contacted The Branch on July 8th for a quote to remove 1 Jacaranda tree. Derek asked me to send several pictures and replied with a price range of $600-$700 and we set up an appointment for a site visit for July 11th. On July 10th I received a call from Derek, saying he was confident he could do the job for $600, which I accepted and scheduled their first available for August 14th. On August 1st I texted Derek to confirm our appointment and get a bid for further work, trimming a couple large Eucalyptus trees. This time Trevor wanted to come out and he did so on August 4th. My Date Palm needed to be stabilized. 3 trunks with one looking like it would fall over. I called Branch, sent them pictures and received a quote within hours. We made an appointment and Trevor arrived on time and was done with the cable-ing within 20-30 minutes. My experience this time was not nearly as good as the prior times. What I noticed is that this small company has gotten really busy - probably the success due to Yelp reviews. This time I did not feel that the company valued my business. Getting a bid required me to take a lot of photos which were too many to email. We were referred to them by someone in our HOA community for tree and stump removal at being excellent at what they do, efficient, timely, and fair in their pricing. My husband made a call, we got a quote in, and within days their crew came out to take out this tree that was eating our front yard.
