Bring all your own blankets, pillows, towels, and wash cloths, as well as cookware, utensils, plates, cups, etc. for all cabin rentals. 2 night minimum for cabin rentals on weekends and 3 night minimum for cabin rentals on holidays. No refunds for PSU Blue & White weekend, PSU Graduation weekend, and PSU home football game weekends.

Things to do Report

Penn-Roosevelt is a good base for those seeking low-density recreation on this vast expanse of public land. Popular activities include: hiking on the Mid-State or other State Forest trails, gravel-riding on over 100 miles of Forestry roads, and mountain biking the nearby Cooper's Gap area, a destination Pennsylvania mountain biking trail system.

Winter sports Report

Tussey Mountain is an ideal place to spend a day with the family. There is something for everyone here, during the winter months, activities include skiing, snowboarding and tubing and a driving range, mini golf and go karts in the warmer months! Pennsylvania's State Forests offer thousands of miles and hundreds of acres of designated snowmobile areas for exploration.

Nice and quiet and clean . Cabin is warm. facilities clean . The primitive cabins were great for a houndsman to actually get a few big dogs in and hunt the mountains around it .

Sometimes staying at a hotel becomes too bland. When I arrived here at Seven Mountains I was so pleased. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The rates were reasonable. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Great experience camping 🏕. I booked this last minute for PSU homecoming weekend. Easy booking, helpful arrival staff and overall very positive. Only drawback is the proximity to 322 hearing all the traffic all the time.

Great little place.. Unfortunately horrible mattresses on beds and the air in our cabin not working well at all.. 95 degree days when we stayed. Also slightly disheartened when I called about lost childs ear buds..no return call or stating of found or not had a friend there whom could've picked them up.. Not sure I will return here..

They have done a lot of good work revamping the campground and cabins. They did a good job on the website too. They have added a new privacy fence in the front towards the highway, which looks much better. They still have some work to do, but they are getting there.

Great place for camping w/ our family of 6! We stayed in a deluxe cabin on two separate occasions as we drove through from NY to MI and back... and the staff was very accommodating for us and helpful! Wonderful place! We will be back!

The new owners/managers have made huge improvements to this place. Moving the cabins to the back and installing a sound wall makes it a much quieter place. If you’re going to ride the dual sport trails in bald eagle this is your place to stay.
