Our licensed and insured contractors, foremen, engineers, and technicians are highly skilled and trained to provide solutions to all foundation issues resulting from poor soil, soil shifting, weather, structure aging, and other factors. It doesn't matter if the walls and structure are concrete, brick, or stone.
In the Detroit area and eastern Michigan cracks in foundations and basements can be common. Significant cracks are usually a result of foundation settlement and/or expansive soils contracting and expanding against the wall. These cracks are generally larger and run horizontally or vertically and diagonal (stair step cracking).
Bowing, buckling, tipping, or leaning foundation walls is an issue that should never be ignored or put off because of the potential resulting danger. Tilting basement walls almost always are a result of outside pressure being put on the structure. Leaning is difficult to notice at first and happens before cracks occur in the concrete or brick.
Houses and other structures gradually and naturally sink over time due to climate and soil condition. Likewise, concrete foundations acquire small, non-threatening cracks over a period of years. A working foundation is generally supported by strong soil underneath. When that soil cannot properly hold up the foundation slab and walls, any number of unnatural problems can arise.

They never showed up. Called me to tell me they were running 20 minutes late but on the way and then never showed up and never called me.

Having a foundation problem, we found out was pretty costly. This company walked us through the process, laid out a detailed plan for work and delivered on repairs for bowing and cracking that were reasonable. Pretty pleased.

These guys rock. We have an ancient home in Detroit that we love, and they saved it with great work to our failing foundation. They got the job done fast and the price was right.
