Mark is a well rounded Shihan (Reiki Master/Teacher), a Shihan in Gendai Reiki Ho, a professional member in the International Center for Reiki Training's Reiki Membership Association, and a volunteer at his local Veterans Affairs offering Reiki sessions to his fellow veterans. For Mark, Reiki is truly a way of life as he continues to research, learn, and practice daily.

Gendai Reiki Ho is brought to us by Hiroshi Doi Sensei and translates as modern Reiki method. Doi Sensei comes from the unique perspective of being a former Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai member with permission to include some of its material into his teachings with the outside world. We are taught that Usui Sensei strived for Satori/Anshin Ritsumei (enlightenment) in his life and achieved this on Mount Karuma.
