When water enters the Iron Filter it passes through a bubble of compressed air that adds oxygen to it. The Iron Filter replenishes itself every one to three days in a process that washes the iron out from the filter and down the drain, while refilling the compressed air bubble. This happens automatically during the night.
At a minimum, check your well every spring to make sure there are no mechanical problems; test it once each year for total coliform bacteria, nitrates, total dissolved solids, and pH levvels. If you suspect other contaminants, your should test for those as well. There are known problems with well water in your area.

Great guy, very honest and friendly. Was the last person I called and the first person to call back about some issues I was having with my water filtration.
