I grew up helping my dad do repairs to our Victorian home that was built in the 20s in the Pasadena area. I went onto doing other areas of construction, roofing, remodels, log home building and started my own construction company. I am married and am blessed with 2 teenagers. My goal with starting this business is to show my children to follow their dreams, love what they do and that they can achieve anything with hard work & effort.
I take pride in my work and doing it right the first time (wisdom from my dad). Another thing he taught me is you get what you pay for - with Rx Handy you are getting professional, dependable, and quality workmanship for all your handyman needs. Disclaimer: I am not a licensed contractor. As such, I can only take on jobs up to, but not over, $500 without a license.

Recently went on a home upgrade spree (e.g., new washer; redoing front and back lawns, etc), and found a bunch of "honey-do" items that this honey had not gotten around to getting done. Some difficult, some very easy. So I went on home advisor and found RxHandy. Called Travis, set a date, agreed upon an hourly rate that was acceptable, and he arrived several days later. Knocked off everything but moving some electrical (suggested I get an electrician for that), in a very professional and expert manner. I even had him do some of they very easy stuff cause I was liking what I saw in

I would recommend Travis to ANYONE. He was super responsivie, very efficient and did an amazing job. We will have more work for him in the future. I am very impressed and so happy to have someone to call. In our case, we had a fence rebuild that was time critical due to pets and he was right there. We appreciate you!

We just moved from the Bay Area to Roseville a few weeks ago. Getting our old house ready to sell required me to hire a couple of handymen. That didn't work to well. Can you guess, I didn't use YELP.
After settling here in Roseville we went to Lowes and purchased a Steel Freestanding Pergola with Canopy and with separate lights; a barbecue grill gazebo; a large patio umbrella all needing to be put together. The sales clerk at Lowes offered delivery (at a cost, no surprise), however, no one to put things together. They suggested Patio.com, that didn't work to well so... won&apos
