The company was started in 1986. John D. was taught the trade by his father, John T. After watching his father for many years, John D. knew this was his path. His sons are now following in his footsteps and carrying on the family business with him. Turnbull Well Drilling has been proudly serving New York and Pennsylvania areas for over 30 years and is proud to now serve New Jersey as well.

Unreliable business, called to have deepen a water well, owner came out gave instructions to clear excess for the truck to well. I called them back that i cleared the excess, they stated they will call me with a scheduled date, I called them back multiple times and was told their schedule is busy but they will give me a call with a date as soon as it becomes available. Still waiting for that call since summer 2019 and it’s March 2020.

What can I say? These two brothers came out when we yelled 'help' and truly made our night! They were professional, smart, helpful, and patient. They immediately identified our problem (besides no water..) and fixed the problem. They observed our situation, and offered alternative options which we happily accepted. Together they worked as a well oiled machine, and their family should be very proud of these two young men. The price was fair and lower than expected. Thank you!!

I contacted Turnbull late one evening when we had no water at our house. They arrived promptly the next morning, spent over an hour assessing the situation and found that it was actually an electrical issue. They fixed that problem and our water was restored. I highly recommend Turnbull Well, they are honest, prompt, and efficient.

The night before a major snowstorm, our pump completely stopped working and we had no water. Knowing the storm was coming this was an emergency. I called up Turnbull Well Drilling and in no time they were at my house replacing the pump that same day. They got the job done very quick and we had working water! The next day we were hit with 24 inches of snow. Thank you to the guys at Turnbull Well Drilling for an amazing job!

I found out in March 2015 that my well that Turnbull drilled back in April 2009 was drilled on my neighbors property.When I called John he came to my house and said he would take care of it. After 10 months of avoiding calls his daughter Sandy contacted me and gave me an option of opening up old well which is not an option because the water was filled with sulfur that is not treatable, hence the reason I drilled a new one # 2 was to drill another one on my property and she enclosed an estimate .REALLY?? I paid for a new well and due to his negligence he drilled it on my neighbors property and now
