Camp Osprey is an overnight traditional summer camp for boys and girls ages 7-15, located on 204 acres of beautiful woodlands, nestled alongside the Little Manatee River in Wimauma, FL. We provide a unique program of recreation, adventure, creativity, and exploration. From our high ropes challenge course, ziplines, horseback riding, canoeing, paintball, swimming, and campfire nights.
Our Tuition is all inclusive: weekly laundry, camp shirt, horseback riding, all activities, transportation and supplies - even paintball and crafts projects - Everything's included! Camp Osprey takes great pride in our fine facilities. On over 200 acres of tall pines and beautiful woodlands, nestled alongside the Little Manatee River, our campers live in spacious, newly remodeled, air conditioned cabins.

Services
Camp Osprey was created to provide children aged 7 to 15 with a fun and safe summer camp environment. As long time Florida residents, both Gary and Sandy have come to love this area and are excited to welcome campers to enjoy the same local activities they have enjoyed with their own family. Children spend so much time indoors these days and have hours of screen time of one sort or another. This lack of physical movement and exercise and exposure to the natural elements has been linked to the difficulties children are having in school and their overall health. When kids unplug from cellphones, TV and the internet, they discover new sports abilities, artistic talents, and adventure skills.
Our campers will find nutritious, healthy, fresh, child friendly food and plenty of it! A wide choice of options ensures that even the pickiest of eaters will find something they like. Meals are prepared by our dedicated team of cooks and kitchen staff and served in our air conditioned lodge. Fresh fruit and water or Gatorade are available to campers every day.

All cabins have covered porches, electric lighting, bunk beds, picnic tables and fire pits.
What is camp without horses? For many campers, horses are the reason they come to summer camp. Our gentle horses and riding coaches have experience with children. We have a beginner's program that features private lessons in a ring designed to develop riding skills safely and rapidly. When ready, they may join the trail riding groups on shaded trails that meander around Lake Dot and along the river.
