No bedding except for plastic sheets, one old dirty pillow and 2 old moth eaten blankets stuffed away in a drawer for 4 twin beds to fight over. Very Cold and drafty. Beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Dilapidated shacks In dire need of repairs. ice covered driveway with no sanding. Supposed to sleep 4 adults but theres only about enough room For 2 to actually walk around comfortably

We stayed here the week of 09/06/20 to 09/12/20. It’s not the Ritz Carlton or Hampton inn. It’s Charm and personality. It’s great wonderful , helpful and very friendly owners. It the down home kind place where you feel they make sure feel like family. Thank you John and Mary. This trip wouldn’t have been as great as it has been without you guys. We appreciate your kindness and friendliness. I will highly recommend you to everyone who comes to town. You guys are awesome. And Thank you John for guides us also. It’s been a pleasure. Shannon

John's lodge is exactly what you're hoping for when looking for a rustic (with wifi) lodge near this beautiful lake. I also fished with John as a guide for two days and caught plenty of bass and even got a landlocked salmon on a dry fly. Would recommend this spot to any and all sport fishermen, I also understand there is some incredible bear hunting in the fall/winter months and would recommend staying here for that as well.
