I purchased PVC trim from Intex and the product that was delivered to me contained a manufacturing defect. Each window / door surround that I purchased has a series of gouges in them. After inspecting the damage, an Intex representative said that this defect was within their manufacturing specs and that if I want a perfect finish, I should sand and paint the trim myself. Attached is a picture of the defective product. You can decide for yourself. whether or not this level of craftsmanship is acceptable.
