Matt Huggins started working in the world of water and wastewater infrastructure in 2007. Successful and ongoing projects have ranged from the acquisition, remediation and operation of private utilities in Montana and North Dakota, to founding and growing an operation and maintenance business, to the acquisition and expansion of an established equipment supply company.

I worked for APE for approx. 9months. During that time, the management and co-workers were very professional and a joy to work for/with. The CEO and district leadership had an open door policy and I always felt comfortable to bring any concerns I had to them.
In fact, I had a health issue and needed to take time off for a surgery and they had accommodated me (no questions asked); I retained my position and they even let me advance my position during this time. I was an Application Engineer at APE for a little more than 2-1/2 years. It has been my pleasure to work for a company whose employees have such a can-do attitude. I felt that management all the way up to the President (and owner of the company) were available and open to hear all issues and concerns.
The work is fast paced and there is never a dull moment. There was always something new to learn and management stressed training at all levels. I also found myself wearing a lot of different hats. Everyday was different with new challenges and a team behind me to help solve those challenges.

When I started with this company I was told that I would get reimbursed for using my phone. In the 8 months I was there not once did they reimbursed me. I used my phone daily for work purposes. Timesheet, receipts, emails, moxtra calling customers. They only thing I got out of that place was long hours and no time to have a life. Always having me doing everything. Ran me straight into the ground. So if you like to get taken advantage of this is the place to go. There's nothing professional about that company and only time will tell
