Capital City has its root in the US Marine Corps, where Chris Barrett learned the power of hard work and unwavering values. After serving in the corps, Barrett entered the HVAC industry as a mechanic. Within the next three years he got his journeyman's license and master's license, gaining management and technical experience in every aspect of the HVAC industry.
In 2015, Chris decided that it was time to finally start his own company. In January of 2016, he started Capital City Heating and Cooling. The business quickly grew from a two-person business to a booming company with 25 employees, thanks to repeat business and positive referrals. Through the history of the company, Capital City has placed a major focus on treating its team members well.

From the very beginning meeting with Gary, the professionalism was great. The most impressive response to me was their heart and care. Our unit was totally gone and it is very hot in the summer and this company brought window units to our home to use until our unit could be installed. That meant so much to us. They are a great company with such perfect and awesome customer service. Every company could learn from this great company who employs phenomenal, great hearted folks. Thank you so much. From the time of our first phone call to the install, everything was excellent. Gary was awesome to work with and the install team was top notch. Gary even brought us 2 window units to use while we waited for the the new system. That takes customer service to a whole new level. I have been in the customer service business myself for 36 years, and this experience has made me a better customer service representative, myself. I don't think that they could have done one thing better. I did not get a chance to meet the owner, but he should be proud of what he's built, and the people he employs. Thank

Capital City is wonderful to work with. Our heating system at the office was not coming on and the office was 55 degrees when we would come in. I called this morning and they had someone to me within the hour. The problem was fixed quickly and professionally. Now we are starting to warm up! I highly recommend their services.

FIVE STAR. Capital City HVAC has done my annual Service contract several years. they are fast, honest and do not try to oversell. Tech Vasco Wilson does fast quality work. I understand owner Chris is a former Marine. as a retired Navy guy, I appreciate the honest hard work of Marines... no wonder they have a great rep.

Since I know so little about air conditioning except for the fact that I like having it, I really wanted someone trustworthy. Charles was fantastic! On time, kind, and maintained social distancing. He swiftly and efficiently explained the issue and serviced my unit which is now working like a charm. Left me clearly written notes about the issue and how he resolved it. Would highly recommend and certainly if I have any other needs will call Capital City Heating and Cooling.

Capital City is the HVAC company you need! I have been with them since they opened and have never been disappointed....not one time! Always super friendly and available when you need them. They understand their service is essential and that customer service is necessary. The option to sign a yearly contract is wonderful. I get a tune up in the spring and in the fall, making sure I am ready for the next heavy season. Also, with my contract I don't have to pay extra fees when I need them to come out for something that is wrong.
